James holmes tragedy

You will find in research of other mass murders and serial killers that it is a common denominator is the recluses, shy personalities and such that do these horrible things. They are busy dreaming of their fantasies of killing and how they are going to do it. They don't live in normal reality. And these movies don't cause the murders they merely give them ideas and such. If they didn't get the idea there they would somewhere else. Look at the efamous serial killers. THey didn't even watch movies. Some were before tv existed. SO the thoughts are there whether there is tv in the mix or not.

I and many others have watched war movies and in my teens, horror movies, but that did not make me a murderer. He is using that as an excuse. His mind was already made up and the Batman Movie was just an excuse. He has a disregard for human life. If the authorities speak to his parents, they would probably recall when they say him pulling wrings off flies or torturing kittens or a pet they loved mysteriously disappeared. Even though I love romantic comedies and some Disney movies, I would not want to have the only movies shown that are just for under fives because of that monster.

It was really a horrible event. If the movies make people so crazy, then we can do away with such movies. Apparently this guy was a very intelligent person who was going for a Ph.D. before this madness stuck him. Killing innocent people just to play the part of character on scene is really shocking behavior!! Cheers! Ram

I think it is way to early to give a motive to this man's actions. All over the world people of this age group are facing terrible stresses. We may learn why he did this but then again we may never know. What has happened,happened but it is no value to guess motive at this time. Please consider this.

Hi adhyz, It is too bad that a young and smart guy like him is having an evil side and shoot a lot of innocent people at the teather.. I don’t know either why he really loves Joker and put himself as the Joker character.. And from the news, there is 1 Indonesian family became the victim of the accident.. Lucky that the guy is in jail now..

It's another horrible tradegy that has happened in our own backyards once again. The producers or directors will not change putting in violence in their movies. Mainly because that is unfortunately what sells. I prefer a non-violent type move, such as, comedy romance. I will never understand how a person can come up with this idea and then have the nerve to act on it. I'm now afraid of the copycats out there because let me tell you I'm beginning to think there are more sickos in the world then not. My heart and prays go out to all the families involved with this terrible tradegy. I truly believe this will keep people away from the theatre for awhile now.
