I was preparing for the exam this morning in order to get the highest grade possible or just enough to pull up my failing quizzes in a particular subject. However, I am having hard time focusing and absorbing the things I am reading and studying. My mind was completely not in the mood to study. I tried forcing myself to study but it just makes my head ache. I am really pissed for I am aware of the stakes that are at risk if I do not do well in this exam. But thank GOD, the exam was still quite difficult, but at least I manage to answer all of them even without an extensive amount of study.
Have you tried that you want to study or do something but your mood is on the contrary?

Yeah, sometimes I ty to study and I just don't feel like it, and even when I try, it's useless. What works for me that I'm going to try when I go back to school in the fall is to chew mint gum. For some reason this gives me more energy and ups my concentration. Congratulations on finishing your exam!

It is horrible when you are in an exam and you don't know any of the answers, so think about how that would feel, and hopefully that will mean that you will find it a lot easier to work. When you have done an hour of work you should give yourself a reward and that should encourage you to get the work done. You only get one chance at your education, so you should make the most of it while you can because you're lucky that you live in a country where you are able to get the chance to learn about all of these things.

I went early at school ahead of the exam hoping that I can study @school. Fortunately, it worked so I managed to study for about two hours only, but that short period of time really helped a lot.

Kenshin, you sound a very smart kid. I am glad you were able to answer all questions, am sure you will do good. Yes, it did happen to me many times. And it is true that it gives head ache when you force yourself and is it not good for the brain. You must just relax at that time and all will fall in place. Otherwise all you learnt, you might forget during if you force it in the head. Have a good day and happy studying to you.

It happened to me a lot of times while I was still in school. In my college, the stakes are high. If our grades fell below the required minimum grade per subject, we will be kicked out of the department. So despite scaring myself, inspiring myself or even rewarding myself there are really times when I can do nothing because no info is coming in my head. I've tried lots of remedies but the one thing that I will always remember is turning to video games first to release tension. I usually pick fighting games like Tekken and I will imagine that its my terror professor that I'm punching in the gut lol! I know its a gruesome thing to think but after that I'm no longer tensed and sure enough I was able to make sense of what I'm reading.

I never learned if I feel the mood I'm in no mood for it because if I force it just makes no concentrations alone and it makes it all is not total. If it was so I prefer to rest first, to merefreskan brain. If it is in racing due to the exam better relax and stay calm do not impose if it is not in the mood to learn.
