It's freezing in this house, as they have the AC on. They left a pile of hot chocolate in the cupboard for me (they are from gift baskets from Christmas that noone likes). I made a large cup hoping it will warm me up also dipping some oatmeal cookies in it. They are boughten cookies but I'll deal with it for the time being.

Sounds like a good treat, especially since it sounds like you are being subjected to a faux winter there.
I have a container of really good hot chocolate that I bought while it was still chilly out but never opened; however, it has been too hot recently to enjoy such a treat. It will just have to wait until the days turn chill again, which really won't be that long--three months, maybe four.

dear
thats sounds good. I mean its so hot right now where i live but in the winter its quite cold. A cup of hot chocolate and cookies sound great. Right now in the weather i am in i like to make fresh smoothies from strawberries from the nearest farmers market. I like to enjoy mine by my pool with a magazine and book.

Oh, I wish it were freezing here! It's been so hot that the air conditioners can hardly keep up. Hot chocolate doesn't even sound good and I love it, so you'll have to enjoy it for me.
Store bought cookies are not that great, but better than nothing when you need something to dip in your hot chocolate.

I love a good cup of hot coffee or cocoa when it's cold. I've also been drinking teas so that will be incorporated in as well as making soups.
Nothing like furry fuzzy comfy socks too!

I wondered the other day, friend, after reading one of the posts you make about food and the kind of things you eat, whether you tell your doctor about your diet (or lack of it). Isn´t it bad for your stomach, if you have permanent colitis, to eat nuts and cookies all the time? Isn´t chocolate too strong to eat? In my country, when people have stomach problems, eat mainly cooked chicken, white rice and broth. I´m worried about your health
