I am a Laker fan. Yeah, I am excited about next season. Yes Yes Yes!!! They got free agent Steve Nash. A veteran point guard that can pass the ball with great accuracy and shoot the ball effectively. Recently, they got also Antawn Jamison. Yeah!!!!!! baby!!!!! A small forward who is a lot like Lamar Odom. Shoot the ball from the outside and rebound. He could come off the bench or as a starting small forward. There could also be a possibility of getting Dwight Howard for Bynum. It's still a prospect. Hopefully everything will work out as plan by Mitch Kupchak.

Unfortunately, I am a fan of the Golden State Warriors. While Laker fans like a lot of you can celebrate Steve Nash and Jamison coming to your team or Heat fans can enjoy Ray Allen splashing 3's, I do not have as much to be happy about so far this offseason. While I do like that we got Harrison Barnes with the 7th pick in the draft, I am concerned that the biggest signing we've done so far besides our draft picks was to re-sign Brandon Rush. While he's a nice player, I was disappointed we couldn't convince one of the bigger names to come to Oakland and play for Mark Jackson. I think our situation shows how difficult it is to climb from the basement in the NBA: it seems like having only 1 playoff appearance in the last 20-ish years is a large deterrent to free agents.

They still have a lot of good players. But compared to the other teams, they haven't made a strong deal. They Klay Thompson and Nate Robinson. Yeah, it's nice they signed Brandon Rush. He is a scorer. Is stephen curry still recovering from injury?

They should good players though if they can. Players that are underrated but really bring something to the table. They should do a lot of research.

Yeah, that string of injuries during this last season apparently resulted in an ankle injury sidelining him for a while. Although, as you may know, I get the feeling that he could've tried to come back earlier and fight through the injury, but I think the Warriors kinda tanked and lost more games than they could have in order to keep their draft pick (it needed to be 7th or higher to keep it, and thank goodness they did). I expect Curry to come back and have another strong year like he did 2 years ago (barring further injuries, of course).

Los Angeles Lakers is not my main team, but now it is with the addition of my man Steve Nash. I am a fan of Steve Nash and with his move to the Lakers I am betting on them winning it all. Nash should be able to get his rightful ring. I am also a Thunder fan, but not much moves were made by the young Thunder. It is considerable as they have an already solid team which can be more deadly with chemistry and experience. Things are really getting interesting with free agent movements. I do like the team being put up by the Minnesota Timberwolves. They got a great core also in there.

No Batum for the Timberwolves. The Blazers matched the offer sheet keeping Nicolas Batum a Trailblazer. Tough luck for the Timberwolves, and they missed out Courtney Lee too.

Yeah. The Lakers made a lot of good moves. They got Steve Nash, a veteran point guard who wants to win a championship. He deserves to win a championship. He was a two time MVP. The Thunder didn't make much moves because they already have Westbrook, Harden, and Durant. Maybe they don't have budget to make moves and get quality players. I don't know if you noticed but they signed Thabeet from the Grizzlies. A big guy coming off the bench to give you rebounds and blocks. The Timberwolves also made a lot of smart moves. They got Batum and Roy. Two very powerful and great wing players to play with Kevin Love.

Give me five, Bro. I am a big fan of L.A lakers too. Like you, i am pretty excited about the recent two tradements lakers made. There is no denying that Steve Nash and Jamison are both edges for lakers. Yet we should remember our disadvantages as well. Firstly, Kobe and Nash don't have qualified substitute players yet. In the view of their ages, how to arrange their court time become a problem. Secondly, the chemistry between Andrew Bynum and Paul Gasol seems not as good as we expect. Sometimes, the double-tower strategy does the diservice for L.A. Anyway, i hope Kobe and lakers can be better and better, and get their championship next season. Go lakers!

Yeah. Nice analysis. Kobe and Nash are getting older so they need managed court time and playing time. I think Steve Blake will replace Nash but I don't think he is better than Sessions. I like Sessions more because he's young and fast. But he wasn't resigned by the Lakers. They could use Darius Morris. A more taller point guard. For Kobe, they used Goudelock. hehehe But I am not sure if it's the right player. They should find someone more talented for Kobe as backup.

I'm a Toronto Raptors fan. I'm Canadian it's allowed. We were hoping to pick up Steve Nash ourselves but I'm not sure that was ever a good idea for Nash or for the Raptors. Instead we got Kyle Lowry from the Rockets and a couple other guys. That relegates Calderon to back up which might be the right move but it isn't a very popular one. With the arrival of Jonas Valanciunas we're hoping the team will be a lot better this year.

That's nice you got Kyle Lowry. A great point guard and a great penetrator. And of course the rookie, it's nice to see how he will adjust to the nba. Thanks for the comment.

The rockets gave up Lowry to get Jeremy Lin. Would that be a great move?

I am a Rockets fan and I believe that the Raptors improved by getting Lowry. He can be one of your go to guys in the clutch. He can score both by driving to the basket and by his perimeter scoring. Congratulations on that significant pick up.

The Lakers indeed improve themselves this off season. It would be great to see a Lakers vs Heat finals. If the Lakers add another important piece like Dwight then it could just be a matter of time when another trophy is raise by Mr. Bryant.

Yeah. It would be nice to see Lakers vs. Heat in the finals. The Laker's Big five against the Heat's Big five.

I'm a laker fan too. Next season is more exciting with steve nash and Dwight Howard in the team, the Lakers will once again be a dominant team. They have their own big three with a great experience and a championship caliber team. Miami Heat must be ready for this cause they will not easily defend their crown. Dwight Howard is a monster inside the paint with nash making plays will really make other teams suffer and offcourse kobe bryant with brilliant moves that's unstoppable.

Thank you for responding. Yeah. I am excited but still there are a lot of teams also making their moves. The Miami heat have their big five in Lebron, Wade, Allen, Bosh, and Lewis.

I am a fan of many different NBA teams these days. There are so many good and exciting ones. I used to love Lakers during Magic Johnson era and, of course, Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan. Anyways, I am just a bit sad about Jeremy Lin move to Houston. I wish he could stay in New York, and I think deep down he does too. Oh well, perhaps something good will come out of that. He'll be their strong starting point guard, still exciting!

Yeah. That's where he was known for. Linsanity. Now he has to go to Houston and make a name for himself now. The Houston rockets got a great point guard in Lin. He is the next Chinese sensation after Yao Ming.
