your purpose in life?

I did not have a sense of purpose until I had children. It remains my life's purpose to help them build rewarding lives and, more especially, to help them build a spiritual foundation to anchor them. The latter has mostly been a losing battle so far but all I do is guide, not preach. I doubt preaching or lecturing would have any results. One of them is growing a bit spiritually so I'm having some success. I'm glad you were able to rebuild your family. Family is so important. Yours is special because you chose its members yourself!

Well since I was a kid until now I've been looking for but in the meanwhile it was always about the animals, I hear things that I can do something about, like God sends them to me, lol, so even though when I'm foccused in other things animals literally get on my way but I love it, so my purpose is to help animals , not that it feels like work at all.

Hi savypat, While it's true that we all have a purpose in life,many people spent a lifetime searching for that purpose, and some never know that they are already doing it. You need to experience family and having lost that feeling so young, it's easy to see that you would want it back. Blessings.

The only purpose I have ever really known was for my children. I have gained a bit of purpose with my position at work too. I get a great sense of satisfaction helping people and treating them the way they deserve to be treated. I remember what it was like there when I first came and now it doesn't have to be that way anymore...at least not in the department I am in. I work towards others too but I am still a bit limited in that area. I do wonder sometimes what I am here to do though. Sometimes I think it is coming and then other times, I do feel as though I am in the middle of it.

I really don't think that it ever really becomes clear what our true purpose in life is because of the fact that we have so many different things going on in our lives at each point during our lives. With that said, I tend to believe that the purpose in my life is actually to raise children. I started doing this with a friend's children when I was only nineteen years old and since then I've been raising children to some capacity, from my own two children to my two nieces that I raised for the first three years of their lives and most recently keeping my friend's children while she hasn't been able to be with them.

Hi, Savypat, right now the purpose of my life isn't clear to me. I've struggled for years to take care of my child. She is already 25 year old and I need to look around. But the situation with the everyday battle for surviving is worsening. I still can't find a little time for myself and try to think about my life. But I'm not giving up.

Great thought. I am also in the middle of my purpose. Boil it down and I am a caretaker. I take care of people, trying to make them feel accepted and whole. I do not have a professional label, but it is what I do. I always want to make people complete and content. I have done that by being a wife, a mother, a friend and in some of my jobs.

Many people believe that learning (and education) is what life is all about, but it can be easily proven via Hypnosis that we already have the knowledge of the universe locked in our brains. The real reason that we are here is to experience. For instance,many criminals expect to be caught and punished, but because they need the experience they go ahead and commit the crime, and get punished because they need the experience. Indeed many people don't listen, and just go ahead and do it even tho they know better because they want to experience the thing.

It is not clear to me what is my purpose in life. I have my some bindings an my family and I'm trying to do that. I think life is an accident and let it enjoy.

I am still trying to figure out my purpose in life. LOL. I have no idea what it is supposed to be. I have often wondered what my purpose was, but I have never found the answer. I am sure one of these days it will become clear to me. But for right now I just keep on going day by day.

Well I have a clear goal ahead of me, I want to have a stable job and family with 3 children. After that I promised that I will help my other relatives in their lives

When i was at the age of 20's i could say no cos i am still very immature during that time. I grow up very childish and doesn't know any valuable purpose in life.Everything is really a mess.I used to go out with friends.I learned to drink and one time i even try to smoke cos i want to enjoy myself.But behind all those fake smiles i had,depression is on going.I hated everything.Life becomes more complicated.So, while pondering, i prayed to God for guidance.I said sorry to Him.I ask His insight.Then,i began to change the way i want myself to be.But i didnt make it on my own.Since i have some believers relatives,i started to study the bible with them.While learning the truth, i soon realized that God has a name. Psalm 83:18 says "..AND PEOPLE MAY KNOW THAT YOU WHOSE NAME IS JEHOVAH..You alone is the most High all over the earth".And I learned also that His best quality is Love.( 1John 4:8)And He then created us with a purpose.It is His purpose that human being will live happily and eternally in paradise on earth.Psalm 37:29 clearly says "The righteous themselves will posses the earth , and they will reside forever upon it."(Revelation 21:3,4 supported)All these fact i learned has really move me to love and serve Him.This is now the most inspiring things that gives my life MEANING and PURPOSE.^____^ And one of my goal now is to sharing this good news to all people from all sorts.Cos this is what God has ask His people to do, sharing the Good news to everyone.(Matthew 24:14;28:19)^____^
