South Africa is dominating the first test against England.
England batted first and scored 385 runs, but in reply to this SA played very well and now in a situation of winning the match with an innings.
SA scored 637/2 and declared their innings.
Amla scored a triple hundred(311*), along with Kallis(182*) and Smith(131).
Now the match is on progressing and England are 60/3 with 24 overs remaining on Day 4.
ENG lost Peitersen, Strauss and Cook.
England should fight well to keep the match alive.
Do you think England can make a draw on this test?

Yes I believe england will have enough fight to make this test match a draw. With the wicket being flat and dry tomorrow i think the test will end a draw, with england digging in. But i must hand it to south africa for an outstanding batting performance. Amla batted beautifully and i must raise my hat to him.

Yes there is possibility of draw, but it depends mainly on Strauss and bell, these two should continue digging in order to save the match.
As you mentioned, SA played an amazing innings....
In the discussion, I have typed Strauss got out in the 2nd innings, its not Strauss, its Trott, sorry for the mistake.....

Yes i agree it depends on the English middle order perhaps later this evening or tomorrow, got the game going on the tv at the minute. The match is definitely in the balance, well strauss has gone. Its looking good for the south africans at the minute but can england hold on its looking more unlikely now.

I think now the possibility of draw is getting less.
4 of the English batsmen are gone....
And more than a day remaining, so no SA really holding the driver seat, but anything can happen in cricket......its unpredictable.

Some people expecting that, this will happen.I also was thinking that south africa have some chances for sure, but i was not expecting that England will behave like this their some batters not batted well. Also inconsistency is a big factor about England's, as you can in the first innings Alastair cook made century and now gone for duck.I don't think England has the chance to draw this game because if this pair will not bat through out the day 5 or at least two sessions, they can be in big problem.

Yes, Strauss also gone.....
Now England are really in trouble.....
they are finding it difficult to bat on in home condition, whereas SA did it simply.
I think England will not save this match..

Yes, I too think that they are finding it difficult to bat in their home ground. Now England is 102 for 4 and Ravi Bopara and Ian Bell are on the crease .

hello,
South African team has some great players in their side. Amla and Kallis are the type of players who can show the world that they can do anything. Amla is a real match winner. Player of his calibre are rare. He is unsung hero of south african team. He has such potential that I think no other player in the current team of south africa has. Kallis as always played a fine innings and scored a brilliant century. It was good to see Smith scoring some runs. I always loed his game and he is always in and out of form. But he played very well this time.

Hello ramaswamyvtkv, it was a superb batting performance from South Africa. Even though South Africa lost Alviro Petersen very early, all other top order batsmen played well and managed to set up a huge total! I think we can hope for an interesting end for the match .
