Anyone been watching 'Prime Suspect USA'? I'm hooked!

The main character, a female detective, is a superb actress. And so is the guy who plays her widower dad. Every week, there's a new murder to solve - great whodunnits. I'm completely hooked. What a professionally put-together crime drama show. What do you think? Do you watch it? Do you like it? Are you into crime dramas?

I was watching that show, however, I hate to disappoint you, but the show has been cancelled. The last episode of the show ran last January.

Awwww - I'm so disappointed. Why would they want to cancel such a great show. Whatever, I'll watch it over here in the UK to the very last episode. Thanks for the heads up!

It never really caught with ratings here. I used to record it with a DVR but even I had some trouble holding onto the shows with other options to watch and limited space on the DVR.

There have been two recent shows called Prime Suspect. The first in 1991 with Helen Mirren and the second in 2011 with Maria Bello. I watched Helen Mirren in Prime Suspect and felt it was excellent. If Helen had been cast in the 2011 show, I would have watched it on NBC. The 2011 show didn't get good ratings, so was canceled.
