Are your teeth whiter if you don't clean them for a while?

My teeth are whiter if a skip a day of cleaning them. The next day my teeth appear to be white. Then when I brush them they kind of are a faded color. Do your teeth do this to? I was just wondering because every time I skip of day of brushing my teeth, my teeth are white and I don't want to brush my teeth. That's gross though so I still end up brushing my teeth.

I clean mine regulary twice a day and they are still not as white as they should be, so I doubt they would be any whiter if I didn't clean them. I would feel gross if I stopped cleaning them for longer than a day if I really really had to. I just hate the feeling of unclean teeth in my mouth.

That is not really a normal situation. Normally, if we didn't brush our teeth for a day, there will be a white layer of stain or something which I dunno the exact name for it. If you scratches your teeth with your finger nail, you would be able to see it. Maybe it's that layer which makes your teeth seems like white. You should really brush your teeth two times a day at least.

I dont think skipping brushing makes your teeth whiter. It might be a pseudo effect bec there are more build up on your teeth and cleaning it after a few days makes it look whiter.
