How i wish i could have spent quality time with my grandparents. Since my parents get married they leave away from their parents that is why we grow up away from them. The only memories that i have with my grandfathers is when we attended their burial ceremony, while my grandmother in my mother side is the only whom i have spent time. Although its not all of the time but at least i got to see her once in a year for a week. During that time i constantly ask my grandmother to stay with us during vacation but she refuses since she is taking care of my other cousin.And unfortunately she got sick and nobody will take care of her so my family get her and took care of her very well until the day she died. I can remember only happy moments we spent from her last 3 months we spent and thought that life is too short to be wasted. we have to be with our family love each other and be merry! stay happy!

Hey that isn't so bad you don't get to spend much time with your grandparents.. You have your parents and you're not an orphan.. God knows how lucky you are.

yeah right. They are my treasures. It is just that i want to feel the feelings of having you grandparents with you. But it is fine.

Dear gerlieann,you are a good guy,in this era,familial affection is very thin,everybody just be pushed to earn more money and do not have the time and mood to enjoy the happy time with their family especially with their grandfather and grandmother.We all need to learn this from you.It is never too late to love.

i feel you girlie. my grandfather was once with us when we were in our elementary years.actually, three of our cousins lived with us too since my mom managed to send us all to the same school and grandpa was once fetching all of us from school. i remembered most of the happy days we had especially when we came to him when we escape from mom's anger because of some of our kiddy faults.
Taking the time to remember a grandparent requires so very little effort, and yet means so much. You know... grandparents really have it all -- what they really want -- is to hear from us! you should consider yourself lucky since not all grandchildren had their experiences with grannies.

I was raised by my grandparents (mother side) and I know how grandparents love their grandkids so much.
I also got the chance to live a little time with my grandmother (father side) and I can say that she is really sweet like my grandparents (mother side).
I have lots of memories with my grandparents.
The only grandparent I have now is my grandpa from mother side- but he is now living away from me.
I am planning to spend few days with him this coming December vacation with my kids.
