I love reading books. It takes me to places I have never been and I meet different people along the way. Reading a book for me is going into another world wherein it eliminates the present world I am in today. It takes me from one place to the other. It's as if I was really there. The books are like are mostly new age, ghost stories, witches, vampires, etc. My favorite Author is Anne Rice and Stephen King. Do you like reading? What books do you like to read? Any favorite author? Do you feel the same way like I do when reading books?

I to like to read,i agree with you that a good book can transport you to another world and make you forget where you are.For me a good example of this for me are the harry potter books. When i am reading them i become so engrossed in the book i almost feel like i am in the harry potter universe.I would have to say the harry potter books are my favouritemy favourite series of novels.Another set of novels that capture my imagination are the chronicles of narnia as they to transport me to another world.By the way i do read adult books as well but these tend to be non ficton usually history books.

I have never read the book of Harry Potter or The Chronicles of Narnia but I do have a collection of the movies. I like both of them. I have one Harry Potter book here at home but I just haven't gotten around to reading it because I have bought a lot of books and I just hadn't gotten to it yet. Thanks for responding

I've read a few that transported me to the place and time. That is the best way to read! The Fern Michaels trilogies are amazing! (3 sets of trilogies!) But it is a fantastic way to live history and be somewhere you know you'll never be able to "go" to.

I love reading books, but the only kind of books that i wanted to read are business books and one of my favorite author is Robert Kiyosaki. Right now I am reading the "Why we want you to be rich" by Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump.. I am not into fictional books because i actually tried reading one of Dan Brown's book and i cant finish it because i feel sooo sleepy after 5 pages of reading. Ahahaha so i decided to watch the movie instead :)

Business books is good for once future. I know we'll learn a lot from it. It's true that sometimes there are books that are just better seen on movies. Thanks for responding

I read anything that catch my interest. Fiction/non-fiction, science, reviews.. etc. Sometimes I don't understand why some people wouldn't bother to take the time to read. It's a whole different experience when you absorb the things you read.

I certainly do enjoy reading. When I was younger I read fiction constantly. It was a way for me to escape my reality. Nowadays I read nonfiction more than anything, and I don't read as often. But it's still one of my favorite ways to pas time.

I love reading, the hard part is finding a good book to read! I love time travel books (Time Travelers Wife was HORRIBLE!!!) and I like the civil war era theme or the early/mid 1900's. I like Lyverle (sp?)Spencer and Fern Michaels and Jude Deveraux. Just went to the thrift store today and bought 2 Deveraux series...one book ends as the next one picks up.. and a Michaels. Can't wait to start them!

I've been a reader since the time that I was a small child. This was something that I started at my mother's house and I loved to get into a good book because it was a way that I was able to escape from the problems that I was having in my life. These days, I still read at least a little bit each and every day and it is still something that I really enjoy doing. There is no specific genre that I like to read from, I will read dramatic books, biographies, Vampire, horror and a little bit of romance too.

I too love to read books. When I read a book, I become the characters of the book. I also feel that the things are happening in front of my eyes. My favourite authors are Chetan Bhagat, Robin Sharma and Paulo Coelho.

I always like to read books. It is a good habit. I like comedy, computer solutions magazines and personality developement books. If you read a book you can get an idea of what to do and what you can do with those concepts you studied. Some person only will have the reading habit others if take the book they will feel like this is the time for sleeping. ha ha ha!!
