Mountain climbing when you have heights sick.

In the last ten days, I was in practice with my university, away from home. Between the many visits here and there to farms and clinics we went also in a mountain trip. I am more a sea person, since I love to swim. We were told that it would be a nice walk through the forest, and I was very happy since I love fresh air and nature. When we finally arrived at the mountain, which was actually a natural reservation with bears, wolves, lynxs and other animals, I was in the situation to face one of my biggest problems: heights sick. Those of you which are having the same problem know that each time you look at down you feel like your feet are made of rubber gum. So I had to decide: go back, or go on. Even if I wondered whether I will go back home one piece I went and faced the mountain. And I finally got to climbing rocks, going on a wire and walking on the edge of a big cliff. I must say that I am very proud of the fact that I went to the top of the mountain and still went back home in one piece.

I also believe that in life we must face our fears. after facing them everything is brighter and the worries are less.

I must confess that I really enjoyed climbing on the mountain. The only thing that is left to get over it is the fear of falling down and dying.
