I always receive game requests from Facebook friends who are, well, addicted to Facebook games. At first it is ignorable but just now when I logged after 3 days of not being on it, I got about 57 notifications all about game requests. Last month, I already appealed to my friends that I am not interested in games. I think I said it in a really nice way. As an added measure, I also blocked game requests from particular games. But we all know that each day, more games are being created. I simply cannot block them all.
For those who are not into Facebook games, how do you deal with this (aside from getting rid of your Facebook LOL!)
It's not really a big deal but because it's also in my notifications I am missing some important ones that I've been following.

Yeah, I often get those requests too. I just ignore them. I just let it accumulate but never checked on them. Don't bother and pay attention to them and your stress against it will disappear. Simple right? Just my two cents.

There's nothing I can do besides blocking and no longer approve the request.

I agree. That's pretty much the solution to this frequent game requests I keep getting.
It can get quite annoying because number one, I don't play games on Facebook and second it's not really important.
But hey, what else can we do about it? Not much, that's for sure.

Hello Raine38, I also don't like to receive unnecessary game requests. If any of my friend send me the request, I tell them I'm not at all interested and don't send me again. Because it is too annoying for me to see the game requests in my notification list .

I myself also don't wish to received any of those notifications. It's a hassle on my part but my friends Just like yours are keep on sending me.Sometimes it's already irritating..I don't really play games for I don't have enought time to and i still have a lot of priorities to attain to. Good for them who don't have anything to do except to play games.

same as me as well, I only played poker and tetris on facebook so all of the other games are all blocked, if you only can see my list it was sooooo that long and you cant report them I guess but I don't feel like talking to them but instead block the games once you receive another games again. I was also a player and I do that to but for those who only play the same game, for sure some of them just send it to all of their friends, its so flood and looks like a spam on notification.

I ignore 90% of the notifications lol! I used to play a lot of fb games and I stopped due to game bugs, lack of time, etc etc. People still send me requests and once in awhile I respond to them. I think the key is not ever being concerned about getting everything 'done'. It'll never happen lol

You can't really do anything to help it. Just notice which friend(s) of ours send the most requests and talk to him/them about not doing so. If this doesn't work you only are left with the option of blocking each new games you see notification of.
