My kids and I, along with a few friends, had plans for overnight at my cousin's place last weekend. As early as Thursday night, I already did a full week's laundry, mostly the kids' school uniforms, so I wouldn't have anything to worry about even if we'd get home late Sunday. What happened was, the overnignt plans did not materialize, because of the heavy rains that the entire Metro Manila experienced over the weekend. In fact, it has already been four days till now that we can not go out of the house without getting wet, the floors all damp and slippery and there's a lot of sneezing around! This humid atmosphere doesn't really get to me though, it always happens this time of each year and I also always love it when it rains! :) It's one of those precious times when it's so good just lying in bed and cuddling with Innah, my adorable three-year old.:)Thank God we live in a flood-free area so it is alright for me even if it rains cats and dogs! :) Happy myLotting everyone!

Good for you. I also enjoy cold weather such as this, but not when I have important errands to run and it is nearly impossible to make it what with the condition of the roads and the hassle of travelling on a rainy day. I do welcome the chance to laze at home and do nothing. But it sure posed the problem of my siblings' uniforms that remain unwashed over the weekend. Today, it was sunny for awhile so I fired up the washer and was able to finish. And then it rained again haha!
Btw, what part of Metro Manila are you located that's flood free, if you don't mind me asking.

Hi Raine, you're right, at times like these I also have some setbacks, like appointments getting postponed and having to worry about flights getting cancelled! As much as I enjoy my lethargy symptoms, I also wish for the sun to rise soon haha, because my sister's flight from the province will be in two days time and yes, I have a new pile of dirty uniforms to wash too! Anyway, I'm located in Mandaluyong, near Makati area. :)

I see, yup, that area is indeed flood area. Sorry for the diversion, we're just looking for some townhouse or condo units and of course, the major requirement is the area being flood free. I don't think I can rely to "sellers" anymore, I guess it's better to ask the actual residents of the area.
Thanks a lot!
