Ear Piercing with designs

lately i saw some pictures on my facebook, ear piercing inside the ear with the shape of a star, heart and more. it's kinda gross don't you think that your making holes on your ear especially with designs, tunneling is ok for me but with designs and see a piece of your ear in your hands. what do you think? does it gross you?

i really love to have earrings with design but the most dominated color i had are all emerald green,and the designs have differences because i have circle,heart,tear shape designs,i always change my earrings every week,and now i am wearing with my circle emerald green earrings.
