This question bothers me a lot.Brushing hair both in the morning and at night can stimulate the scalp to produce sebum and essential oils. They say that the roots of the hair may eventually become stronger and hair loss would be diminished. But I heard that 100 brush strokes should be a matter of the past. What about you? Do you still believe in this myth? I wanna know your opinion too.

May be it will good for me :D unfortunately Im too lazy to do that 100 strokes a day O_o that is too much,, I have thick hair and have hairfall problem too. Lots of hair fall every day when I brush my hair, but it did not affect my hair thickness. I have fast growing hair. I have tried strightening 2 years ago and I dont think i would give it 2nd round, and it made my hair fall after some time.

Hello mrswhitfield
Same here, I also have hair fall problem. I tried to use anti hair fall shampoo. Coconut oil once a week is a great help..

I have always thought that brushing your hair for 100 times would make them shinier and straighter. I think if you have the time to brush your hair 100 times a day, I think it is still worth it though.

Hello oOjopakOo. Me too! I used to think that way also. Well, in my opinion we need to brush our hair lightly in order to remove impurities. Hair will break if you tug on it too much. Do you have a long hair?

Nope. Its not true because brushing your hair 100 times can make it more damage and even remove it. The best way to take care of it is use an appropriate shampoo and still depends on what type of hair you have(oily or dry). Type of hair also varies from the family. If you are straight hair family then there is a possibility that you could receive that trait. Also don't use shampoo everyday because certain chemicals if use it daily can make your hair vulnerable to be unhealthy. You can also use alternative method like natural aloe vera or coconut oil. This can make your hair strong and healthy. Don't just rely on strokes as it can worsen the conditions. If you are in doubt of the myth then go for the fact.

Hello pentium 22.Thanks for the comment. I agree with that. I don't use shampoo everyday because all I know that it's not good for my hair. And you're right using aloe vera or coconut oil is a good alternative method.. Have a great day.
