Do you sign up through refferrals?

Getting referrals makes you money if the site pays you. It's hard getting referrals because people tend to be active for like one day and then they don't sign in no more. I notice though some people read a article about a person who worked on describing the site, telling you the good things about that site. Then when the person reads it, Googles that site and signs up through there instead of their referral.
I did this today, but I realize is just sad that i read a good helpful article that answered all my questions but i didn't sign up through them. This is the first time i done this. I didn't really think about it through.
What about you guys, do you sign up through referrals or you google it then sign up normally?

Mylot and any other site I've made money from, have all been from signing up under someone who referred me. In reality, to make a decent amount of money online on these sites, it usually comes from having referrals. I know that we can't post links in the discussions here but I have some friends that I talk with in private messages who have given me helpful website links and visa versa. Anyone is welcome to message me if you are looking for websites to make money from.

I think trying to get referrals is just a waste of your time that can be spent doing something else to help your bottom line. I never try to obtain them because it's like you said they'll be active for awhile then quit.
If you could come up with a way to keep your referrals active and happy then you would have a winner.

When i was new to online i joined some site without any upline (like mylot and now i regret about this)
as i became aware of the referral system and that referrals are important to earn online i always sign up under someone or the other usually under my online friends who are using that site
I don't see any loss if i sign up under someone actually we sometimes get good friends through this way.
We all want referrals under us Right ! but we don't want to be downline of someone now that's something i believe is wrong thinking

As you mentioned that getting refferals is difficult, but we can notice that lotsof online program are based on referrals, this mean you can earn more money if you have lots ofreferrals. But now we can find that few people would like to register through our referrals link.maybe you can get some referrals if this programs is a new one and you try your best to promote it.
