I am so upset right now. I only purchase watermelon maybe once per year because I love it and won't ever stop eating it. I went out and purchase one yesterday. My children have been bugging me to death about cutting it. I allowed my oldest Daughter to cut it . She has damaged my entire watermelon by shredding it, it is cut up in little bity pieces and I can't stand it. I love to have big chunks so the juice explodes in my mouth I can't believe they ruined my entire watermelon....smh

Hello lady and welcome to myLot. As I see it your problem is easily fixed. Next time buy two water melons. One for your kids and one for you. Let the kids cut theirs and you cut your's. Also next time take the time to show your daughter how to cut water melon. Too many time we as parents expert our kids to just know things because they are around when we do things. Well they are not exactly paying attention to what we are doing like cutting up water melon. You should also explain to your daughter why you like big pieces. Now go apologize to your daughter explain to her about the big pieces of water melon and tell her you love her any way.

That's how kids treat their parents especially us mothers I missed my kids when they are small ones. Now my kids are all young teens and no more kiddie stuff with them. Anyway, I love being their buddy, singing and strolling with them is our past time.

that's children hehehe... I have one kid which somehow ruin everything that I am doing almost perfect, but enjoy it because it won't last long and one day you'll miss them much when they grow older. Kids are much experimental these days and they insist on doing a thing which is good because of the willingness to learn but since learning are in process they are on their edge of ruining it but rest assured that they'll do it better the second time around.. :-)
