There are mostly two places in my house that I will read and there are two times during the day that I will read. Each and every night, I will read at least a chapter out of a book before I will fall asleep at night. This is a habit that I started as a very young child. The other place in the house that I will read is in the bathroom and when I am doing that it is because of the fact that I am taking a bath and I find it very relaxing to read while soaking in a hot bathtub.

Interesting, perhaps I should have reading on bed before sleeping as a lifetime habit too.

I love to read. Everyone in my house is addicted to reading. I thank my grandmother & mother for instilling a love of reading in me. I have tried to do the same for my kids. I read whenever I can. f my daughter wants to watch Ni Hao Ki Lan for 30 minutes before nap time, I'll sit next to her, pull out my book and read. I read a lot before going to bed. My Mom recently loaned me the Dark Shadows books. I am gradually making my way through those.

I love to read and I can read almost anywhere - in the living room, in my bed, at the kitchen table, in the bathtub, in the garden, in the car, in a coffeeshop, at the beach, at the train station or bus station etc. If know that I will have to wait for a bus or for an appointment I usually bring a book and read while I am waiting. At the moment I am busy with work and I don't read as much as I usually do. I don't have time to read during the day, but I always read before I fall asleep. I work at night and when I return to my home in the morning I don't fall asleep straight away. I often read for an hour or more.

I like to sit on the couch or in bed and read because it's more comfortable but I find it much easier to stay awake if I sit at the table, especially a table somewhere public and busy like a coffee shop or restaurant.

Reading is one of my hobbies, so I read a lot during the day and I do so most of the time in my bed or sitting next to my desk. But never before going to sleep.

I'm afraid that reading in bed isn't possible, the cats think my being in bed means its time to pet the cat(s)
I really don't get to read as much as I might like, on the other hand, if I'd quit playing silly games and goofing around on myLot I might have more time to read!

Every evening before going to bed I do some reading on the computer. And when I am lying on my bed, I read news from my cell phone till I feel quite sleepy and tired. Then I fall asleep very easily. It has been my reading habit before falling asleep every night. Take care.

If my husband is away working, I will read in bed before I sleep every night...I tend to mainly read when I go outside to have a smoke during the daylight hours & I seem to get most of my reading done in the mornings before I take my daughter to school & then me to work.

hi jricky1 reading books it okey, especially if you are student, or else this is your habbit before you go to sleep. I'll try because i read the Bible before i go to sleep and meditate what is the meaning of this, but as of now im very busy to become a mom, there's a lot of work like before. Always read if you are comfortable.

I tend to read at places where it's bright and comfortable, such as the sofa by the window. That way I receive sufficient light from the sun to illuminate my page. But I'm most comfortable reading books on my bed while lying down, preferably with the windows wide open during the day. I need the light!

I read in my room while listening mellow music. However reading for me in bed is not apllicable.According to optomitrist, that's one of the reasons that trigger to have a bad eyesight. In that situation also..i can't last long to read because i will fall a sleep immediately.

I often read on the internet, about science and technology, especially in health, psychology, religion and automotive. I am also pleased to summarize the book. For that I read the book to understand its true.

Well, I seldom read paper books now because i do not have much free time. Instead, I read e-books on my cellphone. There is an advantage of it. I can read whenever i am free. It helps me to collect my scrap time. So I read on my way to work when taking a bus, read before taking a nap after lunch, read when cooking dinner. Anyway, I catch every opportunity to read e-books. There is a problem too, though. I can only focus on what i am interested in. As to those so called masterpieces, i can not lose myself in them. Now i am reading Shawshank Redemption. And it is really attractive. Maybe you should give it a shot. Have a nice day!
