i was hoping to plan a tree in our place

but our helper said that it would take too much space. and it is not a tree that is good to plan besides the house. it should be planted in a field or any large areas as the leaves of the tree would usually fall a lot and would make a lot of mess and even destroy the roof of houses. it grows to be very big and wide and so not good one to plant for our place. i was hoping to have this tree planted at home by having a small plant till it grow. the leaves are very useful for cooking since i can hardly find its leaves on the market. it is only available in the market near those fields. but we are in the city.

In the city, it is hard to find a place for planting a tree unless it is planted along both sides of the street, which helps offer some shade in summer. Since there is no place to plant trees in the city, why not try to plant some other plants and flowers in flower pots? Enjoy yourself, hotsummer.

If you have a small field in your house, you should just plant tomatoes, potatoes and such because they don't take that much space. We used to have these citrus fruits(kalamansi) on our front lawn that we sometimes harvest to use as condiments or ingredients on our food.

Hi friend, I will suggest go ahead and plant the tree. I dont find the reason of the tree leaves making a mess, as there will be more advantages of the tree than the problem of falling leaves. One can anytime clean it easily. Also trees creating a problem for roof one can always trim extra branches of the tree and maintain it neatly. Also a tree takes long time to grow bit till it may create problems. There will be many advantages of having a tree, it will give you shed. Your house will be cool in summer also it will protect in heavy wind etc. I suggest go ahead and plant a tree.

I think your helper is right. It is not advisable to plant a tree near a house or a building as it might destroy the foundation of the house. Although planting tree would help us restore our environment, it should be done on a proper place. Perhaps you could try planting it in a big flower pot or container so it would not grow that much.
