Is Pregnancy As Bad As They Say?

I get into these debates with people about abortion, and some of them me that pregnancy is really a very bad thing to happen to a woman. She suffers a lot, and may in fact risk her life when she gets pregnant. They also tell me that she has the right to go through an abortion because the baby is an unwanted and an unwelcome invader that threatens her life, or will cause her great harm if she doesn't get an abortion right away. Is this true?

all i have to say that that my pregnancy was so beautiful . i loved every minute of it i was so happy to have a little angel in my tummy. pregnancy its such a wounderful feeling. the only problem i had was that i get a little morning sickness but that never gave me a reason to get an abortion. its so sad to me that people have abortions. babies are a gift from god.

pregnancy is good to fullfill for being a woman, this is bad if the woman attemp abortion, so many woman in the world they are so many cases for abortion, sometimes he did not accept her life when she gets a pregnant especially the teen-agers and people she/he cannot accept the situation.

No,it isn't true.. I believe that being pregnancy or bearing a child is a blessing from God,and Abortion is a mortal sin.. though it is unwanted but one should accept it.Babies are also humans, they have the right to live ,we should love and take care of them.

Thanks for your comment. They actually try to tell you dangers of child birth. If I tell them that pregnancy is a blessing, they criticize me and one person actually asked me "How Dare I" tell lies. They're really crazy people.

If a lady is using birth control and she is sure now is not the right time to have a baby a positive pregnancy test result is likely to be a shock for her. She might have a slim figure and be worried the pregnancy will ruin her figure. If she is young she might be scared about telling her parents she is pregnant. If she isn't in a stable relationship she might worry that she could end up dumped by her boyfriend. In reality the lady will soon get used to the idea that she is going to have a baby. Pregnancy isn't a bad time and the scans can be exciting. The lady has months to get used to the idea of becoming a mom. If after giving birth she still doesn't want her baby adoption is an option.

I think you're listening to way way a lot of people who are negative or hasn't gone through the pregnancy itself. Maybe that's the case when the pregnancy is unwanted. Or perhaps some trauma occurred that caused the pregnancy. I've never hear such negativity from friends because they welcomed the baby so much. Yes, there are risks, but these risks are borne with love and trust that everything will be okay. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

As far as I know, there are women who wind up having a stillborn child or one with defects that the child sometimes possess into adulthood and the child couldn't see nor stand on her own and is unable to study at school. so it can be financially a serious problem but they (mothers) are usually safe from harm with modern medical technology and good doctors. What's ironic is that the babies with defects get born and live for years while the healthy ones seem to be aborted. I've read though that second and later pregnancies are not as bad as the first.

Yes, it's a real shame that some kids are born with problems. Also, women actually have more problems if they have abortions.

If that is a true statement, then i am sure you can't see any more new mothers or newly wed women having their baby inside their arms on the public street in the past or anytime soon; it seem like all of them will suffer greatly in the hospital or getting sick laying in their bed at home or inside their comfortable coffin after gave birth to their baby girl or boy since great harm had came to them for not aborting their pregnancy. Only a handful or very low percentage of pregnant women will face complication and risking their life to have a baby in most of the country today, except in those extremely backward countries where very basic medical care and attention from medical profesional is not available or the pregnant women are living in a badly pandemic diseases infested area or country. So it is not true to say a woman is risking her life when she get pregnant and choose to have her baby born.
