Eating the crusts on your bread gives you curly hair

I used to believe that if you ate the crusts off bread, your hair would get curly, since that's what my mum said. I would meticulously peel the crusts off when she wasn't looking because I wanted my hair to stay straight. Have you heard and believe in this saying?

As bread is not our main food, there is no such things related to bread present. But we have our own thoughts which are told in younger age when we are as kids. If we eat raw rice, then it will rain during marriage. . Only it is just a way to avoid eating raw rice which is not good. Such sayings are due to avoid to eat those or to take those foods.

What's the relation? Oh I mean, I never heard of that. That was funny!. You made me laugh, I'm sure my daughter would also be laughing if she read this one. We spent a lot just to make her hair straight and yet she will know that eating the bread crust would make the hair curly. That is her favorite.

How old is your daughter now? Maybe if she's still young, she'll apso believe in it. It just depends on how will you tell it to her. Children do have beautiful hairs from birth. But what's wrong ith curly hair? Sometimes it is also god t look at.rght?

I have not heard about this before. I did ate the crust and I have straight hair. On the topic of eating and food. How about this? One must finish every grain of rice on the plate or else their partner's face will be full of pimple. The more you have on the plate, the more they have on their face. Heard about it before?

I haven't heard this either. But i think it will be scary if this statement would happen in reality. How would parents look like if their childrn won't eat all of that is in their plate. Too bad, i always took care of my niece and she mst of the time have many grains left on uer plate...maybe that's the reason i have many pimples sometmes... just lucky,it goes away after few days...

dear how funny! I have never heard it before but its a cute saying. My hair is and always will be straight no matter what i eat. I love curly hair though i have always been fond of it and desperatly wanted my hair to be curly. In grade school i remember wearing curlers just to have curly hair on special osscations.

Crusts at our house become bread pudding, stuffing (a side dish), or croutons. My hair is poker straight.

I have never heard that saying. I don't believe it either lol I have gone a long time eating the crust off of the bread and do not have curly hair Also, the bread crust is part of the bread. If that saying was true eating bread would make your hair curly.

That is so funny, I never heard that one! I wish it was true because I have baby fine straight hair that I really can't stand and have always wanted curly hair. For me the crust has always been my favorite part of the bread. That is just too funny that a mom would say that. My daughter who is 31 years old and has two girls one is 6 and the other is only 7 months. However, to get the 6 year old to sleep she tells her "if you sleep the sleep fairy will leave you money." I was hysterical when I heard that one. Its bad enough when she finds out there is no Santa Claus, Easter Bunny or toothfairy now no sleep fairy.

Haven't heard of this before. And it is funny by the way... but i know there are really people who don't eat the bread crust and they throw it away. I don't know why they do this and they are just wasting food, isn't it? Well, there are thngs that folks say to mak us want to eat or avoid foods whch are not healthy for us. There ar lots of things i have heard before, one is which if you swallow a seed of a fruit or vegetabl,it will grow and you ill becom a tree as a whole.. We even have playime back hen when we were little, we can see if a banana is a girl or a boy because of its tip... i rally can't remember how to tell it no...it's just funny we have done that...

I don't know the purpose of this saying or why your mom would even tell you that since most mom's want you to eat all your food or bread. I think it's quite a silly thing to believe but if you want to waste bread this way then go for it. I wouldn't believe it though. I like bread crusts and my hair has never been overly curly. I eat all the bread.
