How to do Online bussiness well?

Recently, I started online business by myself. But I am a newer and don't know how to promote it so that I could receive many customers. I am eager to get some advises from the experienced people. If someone could give me some suggestion will be highly appreciated.

When you enter an online business you should have to be very patient. I suggest that you promote your online business in your friends and tell them to tell it to their other friends. Posting your business in social site like Facebook and Multiply will help you a lot. Good luck on your business. I hope that one day I can visit your site and be one of your customer.
