A few days from now i'll be retiring at an early age of 39. After more than a decade of working with my present employer, I'm relieved from what we called "politics" in the company. I'm grateful that i was able to land a job of my interest which is "accounting". It brought me happiness and experienced throughout my stay in this company. No doubt that it really contributed a meaningful career in my life. But I have to leave because of personal things i need to attend to. So sad that ill be leaving my dearest and best friend for almost fifteen years and a few true close friends. Life must go on and i believe that if a door closes, a door opens. I'm still young and can still pursue my career with a new employer soon. There's a lot of things to do after resigning or retiring. Soon i will be able to make friends again and work in a new environment.

Oh, you just stop working that job and will work in a new place soon, it is not a retirement yet. Sometime we need to make a decision and i believe you made a right decision. Go ahead, enjoy your life and then get in a new environment for working...

Sometimes it's good to chase new opportunities and open new doors as you said! I think that change is good in a person's life, it can make it more interesting and challenging! However, you can keep in touch with the people and friends that were in your job for so many years! You should always take the best out of your experiences and move on!

Perhaps you just need to take some rest. There are still a lot of opportunities ahead of you. Welcome to myLot. Being here can be a good start.
