I just discovered today that Google Chrome has spelling check activated for the discussion field here on myLot. I was happy to know about it and I think Im going to be using it more often, instead of IE.
I've always been using IE because of the favorites feature which I find easier to use. But, earlier, I had trouble accessing sites with this browser so I tried Chrome and found out about the spelling check -- I love it!

Hello jureathome, it is indeed useful for me. I am not at all good with my typing and spell checking really help me correct the spellings really easily. This feature is available in the Mozilla Firefox too .

I just found out a disadvantage today. The link from the notification doesn't go straight to the particular response or comment, unlike on IE. So, you have to scroll all the way down to get to that part.

I have been using Firefox for Mylot for a long time because it has spell check. Of course you do still have to be careful that your misspelling is not some other correctly spelled word that has a different meaning because they will not catch that. Now if they would just have an automatic grammar check built in that would help a lot.

I'm not sure why, but the only browser that myLot works in for me is IE. I've tried using Firefox and then Chrome, but the pictures don't show in either browser and the format is all messed up. I'm on a Vista machine so maybe that's interfering.
Even with IE, I get time out errors frequently and have to refresh a lot. It's really aggravating but I'm enjoying myLot. I'd just enjoy it better if I could get things to run smoother. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
