I am wondering if when would be the opening ceremony of the London Olympics 2012 especially for Filipino time? because I am planning to tune in on cable and willing to wake up early if needed.
Where could I also find the schedule of the games especially the swimming? Of course aside from the fact that I am rooting for our local swimmers I would like to see Michael Phelps as well.

The opening ceremony for the London 2012 Olympics kicks off at 9pm UK time on Friday, July 27 at the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, East London. It's expected to last until midnight, with a fireworks display going on until 12.30am. Not sure what time that is in the Philippines

Thank you very much with that information. I will really look for the schedule since I really like watching the swimming competition.

I come from Guangzhou, China. I am not so sure about it. But my colleague told me the opening ceremony of London Olympics will be on Friday at about 3am here because of the time difference. Since your country is not far away from here and we are in the same time zone. So probably you can watch it at about 3am on Friday.
I love China

If that is the case then that could be 10 pm here in Filipino time.
