Decoration over the meal

I love cooking.
Hand in hand with cooking, I love making decoration on the foods I cook if it will be something more simple, just like now, fried eggs. I had to put a salad of tomatoes, but instead I made decoration on each plate. One tomato cut for each plate and decorated as circles around the eggs.
Do you have the nerves to decorate foods, when you cook them?

I certainly do, I am a firm believer in the more appetizing a meal looks the more we will enjoy it. I always take a lot of care in garnishing my meals even if they are just for me. This is my lunch today of a simple cottage cheese and ham salad with a small strawberry pastry I made.

I am not good in decorating the plate plus I am not that hardworking to decorate the food. We don't have a habit to serve a meal on each plate. What we do is like buffet concept. We just get the food from the pot and have it in our plate. So there is no time to decorate the plate..Unless if there are guests coming then we will serve it but still no decoration~(^^)

Yes, I have seen that in the movies 
At one hand, it makes much more sense for me, because everyone can decide how much to eat, but we with my boyfriend nearly never sit on the table. He eats on his computer, I am eating on mine, so ... That's why we use plates more.

I would love to friend (decorate) but time constraints simply prevent us from doing so, we are busy people and the best we could do is to make the food really taste good and it would be gobbled up simply because it tastes good.
But we do appreciate decorations especially when we eat out and know how much it could add to being palatable and the work people put into them Wish I had time and make decorations.

I really have lots of time, but not always the mood. I love eating specially this thing - many different things in one single plate. Even few cucumbers, cheese, probably green olives, just we don't have so many things at home now, so today everything was modest, but served in a nice way, to make it up to what we ate

I love decorating our meal but I just do that when we sit for dinner. In the morning we are in rush to work so won't have time for that. I love use bell pepper to serve any kind of salad and turn tomatoes into flower, sometimes when I fix rice or grill fish I use cucumber for decoration too. I think decoration over the meal motivates us to eat more.

I did this with the flower made of tomatoes once, it was delicious, because the plate was full of other things too, 3 eggs and two hotdogs also made in a good way. Now I feel little sorry that I didn't make a picture of it
It makes sense while you put more efforts in the diner, when finishing your work and you have all of your time for yourself and your family.

hi,
i don't have that such love to cook dishes and food but when i cook food i dont decorate it but to serve as good and presentable,because usually in the house my sister always do cooking dishes.and aside from that i only have limited dishes to cook.
