Tottenham Hotspurs and their new coach, Andre Villas Boas doesn`t want to sell Luca Modric..
But Luca Modric wants to move to Real Madrid (which claim interested with him)..
the situation become complicated when Luca Modric did not want to join with Spurs team in their pra season..
it is not good when one player wish is bigger than the club policy..
What is the regulation from FIFA and UEFA for solving this problems??

That guy is under contract to work. If he does not want to work, then he can be fined, and he has been fined. If his employer really does not want to let him go, and he refuses to work, then he can be cold-storaged, like they say, rot on the bench. But it is useless to keep a player if he does not want to play. Spurs is merely holding out for a higher fee for him. I don't see the possibility of him remaining a Spurs player in the coming season.

So now they know that there is no use to keep a want-away player. As in the case of Nasri, if any player does not feel at home in the club, it is hard for both player and club. The best way is to sell the player with a profit. It may be not fair for the club but that is the reality. Look at Kaka in Real Madrid, he does not want to go but he is being forced to. If ever he stays, he may be deliberately dropped from the first team and sees out his contract in the reserves.

Actually for Modric this is the second season running when he is doing this. Last season also he did the same thing and Harry Redknapp made him sit through the initial set of matches for Tottenham as punishment. So I think this looks like another case of unprofessional-ism on the part of Modric.
Cheers!

and now the turn of AVB..last season, Redknapp is succesfully solving the problem
so can AVB follow the way of Redknapp??or he give up and let Modric go?

I agree that is not professional. Once the player under contract, he must obey it. I believe he will be lost his popularity soon. Even though, he is able to move to another team, he might do the same in the future. And many will loose trust to him.

Modric case is another good example of players' power getting out of hand. Sulk, strike or awol when they are denied of their dream moves. I understand that tapping a player is illegal but there are so many cases of it happening and yet UEFA and the various FA is turning a blind eye to it. UEFA and FA has to stamp their authority to prevent such things from ruining the game. But then, the main culprits are some of the biggest and richest club in the world. Namely, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Man City, Chelsea. If they are sincere in stopping it, they have to slap the infringing club with a transfer embargo. First thing, one year. Second time, two. etc etc.

thats ever make Arsene Wenger are really angry when he believes that Barcelona make illegal discussion with Cesc Fabregas and arsenal management and he didn`t know the approach of Barcelona..
it must be regulated in the strong and strict rule by FIFA and UEFA

I think Tottenham should let Modric go. He had lost his passion in Tottenham and club will have no advantages to keep him stay. Modric only want to play in Madrid or other club bigger than Tottenham. Sell Modric with high price then look for the new substitutes with almost similar quality and younger.

that's why this could be good chance for Spurs to sell him with high price and look for new substitutes. I guess we have to wait until the closing of transfer market to see if Modric leave Totenham for Madrid or just stay

Perhaps for this issue, I think it's all back to the club, if the player still has a long contract with the club, players must follow the rules of the club if the club do not want to sell it. but there are exceptions, if the club does not want to sell the player but the player and club buyers want pelangsungkan transfer process, it's okay.
And for that matter FIFA or UEFA can not forbid it.

you are right..it is depends on the club..if they will push modric stay but the heart of modric want to move, the club will be sorry for their poor season..
i mean that the process transfer involve 3 parts, the player, the current club of player and the destination club of the player..
3 of that part is equal and stand in same position..no one can give order to another party..

Yes, that's the situation that occurred in the transfer process, there are three parties involved, but the club can only issue a decision yes or no. IN fact the more dominant here is the decision Modrid and Madrid, because Modric wanted to move to Madrid and Madrid also had an offer. Even if the club wants to keep Modric would not last long because Modric has the desire to feel the atmosphere of competition that is more stringent, while Tottenham? But we'll see what future developments.
