I got a job!!

For the last year I have been unemployed with the exception of a not-so-lucrative home business (not because the product is bad, but because I live on a college campus where everyone's living off of loans and can't afford to spend money beyond bills and necessities)... I tried to get a job for about 8 months, with no success, so I gave up. In about a week and a half my husband and I will be moving to a new city, with a much better economy and employment rate. I already have a job waiting for me when I get there! I am so thrilled! It's only part time, but it's Monday - Friday, 8am - 1pm. It's a JOB. So happy that we won't have to scrimp so much! All I have to do now is conquer the task of packing, and then the 1000+ mile drive to get there.

First of all, congratulation, and I hope that you can adapt to the new environment. Second of all, I hope that you will like you new job, and make new friends there. Finally, wish you luck will move from part - time employment to permanent, so you can make extra money, and got benefits. Anyway, we all look for better future, and hopefully we all conquer all the difficulties in life. That is what we struggling to do, don't we? Wish you luck.

Thank you! I hope I can adapt too, it will be a big change living SO FAR away from family and friends. The part time employment is really all I need, because my husband's job provides our benefits, and the income we would need for the basics.

that's good to hear that finally you got a job..
in our country nowadays, it's really hard to find a job.most companies has a high standards on hiring employees,they're looking for people with high qualifications.

Thank you for your congrats! I have to admit, I was lucky in this. My husband's new boss knows someone who knows someone who is hiring, and I got the job that way, before they conducted interviews.

Congratulations on your new job! It's really hard to find a good paying job nowadays. We are so lucky that we were able to get one. I hope your new job will bring you more success in life.
