At first I had no idea who he was until I read "Mr. Jefferson" and thought immediately of "Movin' On Up" and was actually very surprised. I thought he was much younger than that and I was also very shocked because I thought that someone from those shows would be the least amount known if you know what I mean...it was trending on twitter, got curious who it was, clicked on it and got a very big surprise...
R.I.P Mr. Jefferson. ;(

I hadn't heard about this yet. I'll have to go look it up now to see why he passed away, although I know he was up there in age. I know he had other roles but I think he'll always be best remembered for his George Jefferson character. We've lost a lot of stars from his era this year.

It stated that he passed away due to natural causes. He was 74 I believe they said.
