Help Writing My First Blog Post

Good evening myLotters, and thank you for taking the time to read my discussion. I am actually getting ready to write my first blog post. I know what I want to write about, but I have hit a dead end.
My blog is going to be about how to save money on bills. My blog's current title is "Bill Saving Advice" and my first blog post is currently titled "Ceiling Fans Use Less Energy Compared to Air Conditioning and Heating Systems".
I know nothing about SEO. I did try some keyword research on AdWords, but I have no idea where to begin. I would like to have my titles SEO friendly so that I can begin writing my articles. I'm not too worried about my articles being SEO friendly as I can update those later.
I just want to get my titles set, that way I can have my first hands-on SEO experience. If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.

First of all congrats.You have started blogging with good topic.When ever you want to do seo think like a customer.If you want to save your energy bill how will you search in search engines.Ex:how to reduce my current bill,how to save power,How to reduce power consumption.Dont post ceiling fans use less energy compared to ac and heating systems.First post some thing which explains about power consumption,Power bills,What will happen in future if power consumption is more.In those post repeat all your keywords most of the time.Submit your site in directories,social book marking sites.Increase little bit popularity and traffic.Then start posting what you want to post.

I do appreciate your help on this, and I will be taking all of this into consideration. The one thing I do want to stick to though is that I want to write about what I have come to mind. I don't want to just write about something that I don't have much knowledge about.

Traffic is one of the problem of most bloggers. Due to lack of knowledge about SEO, most bloggers seems failed to reach their goal and this is to make some money on their blog.
Better to study first the title of your blog. Consider one thing when you create a title of your blog. Choose a title that is seo friendly, I mean a title that easily found by internet users. Learn to write a good description of your blog because this will entice your internet users to visit your blog. Search first the keywords relevant to your blog to make sure that the gravity of the keywords is very useful.
