try to put your clothes under the sun after washing them with soap and before washing them with water for few hours. the bacteria will help diminish the germs which you got from the surroundings. and you, as you take a bath, put a lemon to your water and use it as you wash your body. as much as possible, stay away from the heat of the sun to avoid too much sweat.

Yes I do this also missjahn. Clothes dried under the sun smell better even without fabric conditioner.

I agree, and also avoid hanging clothes in a poorly ventilated area or room. Lack of good air circulation makes the clothes smell like mildew.

I think you need to wash your clothes carefully. Mostly sweat sticks to our collars, armpit areas, neck areas and at the back of our clothes. I soak my clothes to detergent for 5 to 10 minutes, then handwash afterwards. Rinse three to four times until the smell of a detergent fades away. Afterwards, I put fabric conditioner with a mix of floral perfume. Of course you need to dry them to direct sunlight. Since direct sunlight kills bacteria that cause odor.

hello gelomon, i also experienced that. i should say, maybe its also in the fabrics that we are wearing. what i mean is the kind of fabric our clothes made of. if we are using a real cotton, and you are clean to yourself, and you wash your clothes thoroughly, hang it under the sun; for sure there will be no smelly odor to your shirt even you perspire. my son experience it too. since im the one washing our clothes, i make sure i washed it manually especially those uniforms and delicate fabrics. using baking soda will also remove smelly odor.

sun dry and putting fab con will actually help, I do wash my clothes using washing machine although its more easy to dry clothes using dryer but sometimes I choose to hang my clothes under the sun and I put fabcon patch after the liquid fabric conditioner and it's smell really good. I don't get sweat everyday at my work so I think that's why my clothes doesn't smell like sweat either.

Well, I washes my own clothes all the time and this type of situation does occur sometimes. At times, even if you washed the clothes using those detergent or softener with scent, the clothes can still smell awful. What I did was to always make sure I put the right amount of detergent and hang the clothes at places with sunlight once finished washing. With direct expose to sunlight, the clothes would dry faster and the only smell you would get from it would be the smell of sunlight. Then, I would spray a little perfume on my hand and I touched every part of my clothes. This will make your clothes smell good and scent not too strong.

I also experienced that on my clothes when I was in college, my shirt smells bad because of every-days air pollution and also sweat. It can happen for how you wash your clothes, if that so change your washing soap and fabric conditioner and make sure it was dry under the sun. And also perfume can reduce the bad smell of a clothe, my sister always used branded perfumes and when she wash her dress it has no odor and instead her clothes still have that smell of her perfumes.

Wash sweaty clothes in plain water and let almost dry before washing in washing powder. Wash clothes quickly, especially if using biological powders. Soaking for a long time will cause the clothes to smell. Use a pleasantly perfumed washing powder, not a conditioner. Always hang outside - even if raining. Damp clothes hanging in the house will always smell.

Wash it clean from soap and then soak it in fabric conditioner. one more, you have to hang it out under the sun till it dry. For sure you clothes will have a good smell. Clothes may have bad smell if it is not dried by the sun.
