I was with my pastor in a mall one Sunday afternoon, i noticed he is looking around and looks like he is thinking of something. Then i asked him, "are you okay?" He said " I hope our churches are like malls, being visited with lots of people specially on Sundays."
I realized yeah, he is right.Few people go to church on Sundays and prefer to go out on malls... because its a great sale day!
But churches offers better... It's Jesus :)

If you have read yahoo news few months back, one of the article featured there said that church has been losing its appeal but it is not said in there that instead of going to churches, people go to malls. They say that people now prefer to attend religious assemblies being head by some well known preachers and evangelist because unlike the usual mass being held in churches, those religious assemblies are lively and discusses/tackles solutions to our daily problems. They also give their followers advice on how to achieve their goals in life so it is more like personalized so more people are encouraged to attend such assemblies than to attend masses. But you are also right, some people have really no time for God. They do not follow the example Jesus has made for us and that is making God his Father the first priority in our lives. I am also sometimes guilty of that. I sometimes prioritize other things over God. I pray for forgiveness.

yes friend! your are right. That's the reason why some churches changes their style in worship and make it more creative and challenging than the usual way of worshiping.
I'm also challenged too to do something :)
thank you!

I haven't gone to church in a very long time to attend mass. The last time I was in a church was in December 2010 when my close friend got married. What replaced church for me was convocations or meditation sessions which I religiously attend 2 times a week. I was born a Roman Catholic but there were so many deep questions that I could not find in the said religion and over time I found something that was suitable for my temperament.
Less people in church may not always mean that others prefer malling to worship. Some people, just like me, still do our work in radiating thoughts of peace, harmony and love for the world aside from our meditation practices. For us, Jesus is not found in the church but is found in each of our hearts.

You are right, I was one of those people before I've met such a great preacher. I have always been so busy struggling so I just spent most of the Sundays relaxing like watching movies or just going to malls like you've said.
However, now I've learned that going to church isn't really an obligation or duty given to us by God to honor him. Sabbath day is actually a gift that God is offering us and God wants us to receive it regularly. Sabbath day is a day that God is offering us to take a rest in His loving arms like a mother giving comfort to her child who got tired from a whole day of activities.
Before, I don't have time to go to Church because I struggle to earn and have a more comfortable living with my family. But thanks to my mentor preacher, I'm able to realized that I could actually win in all aspects of life without sacrificing anything. I just have to start from God, then he gives me more time for my family because I don't worry about financial anymore. He showers me with wealth and opportunities given the correct guidance.
