I like honey and it is so availabel in our native place. When I visited last April I though I will get 5-6 kg of pure honey, as it is costlier if I go for a braned one. My brother arranged to get 7 kgs. of honey from my nearby places where they do the honey business. Afte returning to my city and when I tasted these bottles, I come to know that it was really adultrated and the taste of the honey was too different than the original one. As we had honey boxes at my home, I am well experienced with the quality of the same and we used to sell 200-300 kgs. of honey at peack seasons. Any way, I informed the same about to my brother and when he enquired, he found that they used to add certain chemicals, and some sweet substance (which is less cost) and mix it with honey. They use the same with a 50:50 ratio and people cannot easily make out. Anyway, my brother informed them that I am going to make a police complaint and will be notified to the media. However, they given him another 10 kg. of pure honey and asked him to not to do. Later, the vendor assured that he will not do the fraud and sell only quality honey. But who knows and how long we can keep a watch on them?

Yes, in my country too, that is very very hard to buy pure honey. I don't like to buy honey in market because most of them is mixed with chemicals can harmful my health.
