I have heard on the news and read in the times recently that a young boy died because his cellphone blasted on his face while talking to somebody. I was so scared. I thought I also use a cellphone. It can happen to me also. but then I can't help it, i need to talk to people. Few months ago I had heard there is a certain battery used in cellphones which is capable of blasting but I don't know which one. Have you heard these things before? What do you feel about it?

dear
thats so sad! I feel so bad. I use my cell all the time , but everyone who uses a phone has a risk. Infact there is a risk in anything even mylotting while on the computer . I mean the risks are differant for everyone depending on what phone you use etc. I havent seen that segment on the news but i will search it up.

Hey i too have heard about this weird incident in the recent times. in fact these cases have become quite common these days.
Well batteries should be checked properly and kept clean and away from dirt, water or any liquid. The batteries should not be charged for long hours.

There is a show called A THOUSAND WAYS TO DIE. I saw a reenactment of this happening to a woman in a movie theatre. It has made me scared of cellphones. I really do not use a cellphone that much. One never knows when a battery is ready to blast. To be on the safe side, one can have his or her phone inspected like a car. I guess the battery blasting is rare, but quite possible. It is a risk that one takes when using this device.

Well, the way I see it, we can die from a lot of things... I can get hit by a car in the middle of the road... That doesn't make me want to stop crossing streets... I've heard of exploding gas ranges... Doesn't make me want to stop using gas ranges to cook... I've heard of people falling off a horse & being paralyzed... Doesn't make me want to stop riding horses... Same thing for cell phones... Things happen in our lives that are out of our control... Defective merchandisers are out there... That's not going to stop me from using cell phones...

The common reason for phones blasting out are poor quality battery. If your considering to purchase a phone, you should never look at the cheap ones. Better an expensive phone with good quality and company credibility that cheap ones that does not function well and may even endanger its user.
