Remember all those discussions about house lizards, them falling off the ceiling, landing to us...well, it finally happened to me tonight. I was watching some cartoons with my kid siblings; I was seated on the couch that's near the window, my bro is right across me and my sis is seated on the floor. Suddenly, I felt something dropped on my back. I shrieked and tried to see what the heck is that, because I swear I can still feel it on my back. Before I succumb into a full-blown panic, the culprit made a dash on the front door. It was a lizard. Until now after I've showered I can still feel it on my back, even though it landed on my shirt I seem to still feel itchy. So I guess you guys are right, they are capable of landing right on you when they get tired of hanging out on the ceiling.
I don't know if I'm gonna cry or laugh. I'm such a baby sometimes.

I know how you feel! We don't really have lizards where I am, but we have harmless, little spiders that find their way in our house sometimes. I have had them drop from the ceiling onto my head or neck before. I sort of freak out even though I know they are harmless. Then I can't get the feeling off of me that something is crawling on me. But I always feel so stupid for my reaction! Why do these little critters have such an effect on us? Maybe some of it is the element of surprise they are so good at.

Aww... Poor lizard probably was terrified when you let out that shriek.
I like lizards. They were one of the very few things that I actually liked about being in Florida--the cute little lizards that would scurry around everywhere at the apartment complex.
Somehow, we never ended up with a lizard in our apartment; perhaps, they knew that the cats would try to eat them... especially that "baby" cat of mine. We did, however, have one spend a night hanging out on the outside of our bedroom window--the light causing the creature to cast his/her shadow across our bedroom.

Where I live there are only very small lizards. They live mostly around the terrace where they have more sun. I´m not afraid of them but know a lot of people who are. Once in a while, I get one caught inside my bath tub. I have to take out the poor prisoner without hurting it and take it out. They have small claws that can make you feel itchy, but the are harmless. Iwould be worried about a gian lizard, but I like to take picture of baby lizards and of their cousins, the iguanas, that I have seen at the Caribbean.

OMG, I am so terrified of those things. I will not know what to do. You know, our room, our bathroom have none of these because my husband knows I'll freak out so he gets them out. I feel so sorry for you, it must have been so cold? I don't want to imagine :(
