Hello,
Sending and getting postcards is a feeling for me, though I have not travelled that much but still I send postcards to friends all over the world .
I joined MYLot to meet and make friends with people from ww.
Still looking.

I haven't sent a postcard in quite some time. When I first moved to Florida I made it a point to send postcards every month to my friends and family. That was 13 years ago and I am not exactly sure when the last time was. I love sending and receiving post cards. I think they are fun!

Not lately, but when my grandfather was ill, and dying, I would buy lots of them and send several a week, because it would interest my grandmother, grandfather and aunt, and they really knew that I thought about them often. I chose interesting pictures, and funny things. In my mind I could hear them laugh and talk about them, and share the little bit of news that I could write down and mail in less than five minutes.
I BUY postcards whenever I go on trips because those are the "perfect pictures" that I wish I could take, and I keep them with the personal photos I take.

Hello,
Is it really true that after joining postcrossing.com , people start getting postcards from ww, hard to beleive it, though I just joined it. I trade new postcards for used ones. Got lots of new Pakistani and WW postcards, I exchange 1 to 4 if interested, 1 new for 4 used with stamps on them, any country.

Many times on usually on all occasions to all my family memebers as well as relatives who are living abroad and also to my friends it simply symbolises your affection towards them.

I do but only on vactions. Or thank you cards, but I can leave out birth-day cards those are about the only postcards I send. So you can say that I don't use postcards very often.

I usually try to send out a postcard to some friends and family members if I ever go on a vacation somewhere cool. Other than that, I really don't, it seems like email is the main form of communication for most people, myself included. I sure like getting postcards though!!

Anytime that I go away on vacation, I always send postcards to my family or friends back home. Most people I know like receiving postcards from various places to see what other areas are like. I will also send postcards to my friends who would like to see what Delaware is like.

I have sent a few e-cards recently, but I can not remember the last time I sent a postcard via snail mail.I did BUY a postcard in Aug/06 for someone in my building when I was on a trip, but instead of mailing it I just handed it to him when I got back.It was quicker!
