I was heading to work and this bird was coming right at my car. I couldnt slam on the break or move as there was a car behind me, and coming the other way. It hit right into my windshield. Luckily I cant see much damage, really nothing at all. I dont know if it cracked the windshield or if they were skid marks from the bird.

I find it rather odd that a bird flew into your windshield. Granted, hopefully the bird is still fine, but it's horrifically ironic. Hope you're still alright after that little incident. :o

How is it odd? It happens all the time here. The bird flew off so I'm assuming it's fine.

Over here, birds don't typically fly into our windshield, rather into our windows. They seem to just fly off like nothing happened.

I hope the bird is fine, nothing happen to your car and you are alright too. It just the same like when paper or plastic flying right in front your car. It can be dangerous.

Yes, it can be very dangerous. The bird kept flying so I'm assuming it's alright, no scratch on my car, I got out and rubbed it just skidmarks.

That can be really awkward to try to do what is best all the way around. If you can, you try not to hit the bird but you sure do not want to cause a traffic accident either. Hope your windshield is okay.

Oh, that was the bird's fault stealing your lane. Have you noted her license plates? lol. I had a similar late break-slamming when one night, as I was cruising down on average speed and after passing a curve, my headlights spotted a huge boulder right in the middle of my lane. I slammed on the breaks but it was too late and could do nothing to avoid it since a car was coming up close from the opposite lane so I bumped the boulder and damaged my bumper.
