how will I know if its a male or female?

A friend of mine knows that I really like rabbit so she gave me one. I felt pity with my rabbit with no companion so I planned to buy one to make it pair so that they will multiply, but the problem is I don't know If my rabbit is a male or female. I ask my friend who gave it to me but she doesn't know too, how to differentiate.Hope anyone could help me.

A vet would be able to do it easier. My rabbit is a fixed male, so he can be mistaken as a female. Now being a male you can push down there, and his parts will pop out. But don't push too hard or it could hurt it. Whenever I take my rabbit for a checkup, she showed me.

Its better to ask veterinarians because they are expert on animals. You could also ask personnel from the pet shop or you can search in the internet. :)
