Unfortunately there are millions who know nothing about massacres of Burma .. I've opened this discussion Gan .. There are those who accused me of lying and accused me of spreading rumors .. If this was not the massacres against the Muslims to see the world was turned upside not down , God Save the Muslims of Burma, do not allow their enemies kill them , Ameeen

Hi Gordano, I have not heard of this and it's terrible that the media should remain silent. Religion should play no part in this sort of thing, we are all human beings. I have always thought of Buddhists as a peaceful people but clearly they all don't follow the true teachings of Buddha. I look forward to the day when all peoples of the world can live in peace. Blessings.

Your numbers (20,000 Killed are a gross exaggeration) The real number is closer to 90 people.. You are taking what is a situation of ethnic conflict and trying to put a religious slant on it. If the media is turning a blind eye to the situation why do I find information about in main stream media like The Guardian? http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/jul/20/burmese-muslims-violence-amnesty

You are the second person to write about this in mylot. Look at the responses that the first post has gotten. I am so glad that there are still those who are sympathetic although they arent muslims. http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2676087.aspx

I don't know what happened to the Muslims in Myanmar. One thing that I know is that you can't afford to be non violent no matter what religion or community you belong to.If you are tortured or if injustice is being done to you continuously, you have to wield weapons to reflect your anger as your appeals for justice fall on deaf ears. What is happening in Tibet?Tibet was once a peaceful country. It was an independent nation. They did not have their own army. What happened?China usurped their independence.Tibetans protested in the famous Tianman square, but their protest was brutally suppressed by the Chinese army.No religion or community can remain non violent as long as their is tyranny and injustice in the world.
