Maps are our guides. There are different types of maps. In school maps were not at all important for me because i use to hate a geography subject but as i have grown i know the importance of these maps. Now i show world map, India map to my grandson. It helps him to have a thorough knowledge, information about any particular place in world or India. Now due to new technology in cars, it has become easier for a driver to locate the exact location of the particular place, road. Do you like to view the maps.

I can't read maps and have never been able to. In fact, when I was younger I was told that I was the worst navigator that ever walked this earth. However, I am now able to get directions to any place that I want to go with mapquest and being able to do that means that I actually do a good job of getting where I am going. I still can't read maps, but I can definitely fake it because of the new technologies that have evolved in the last several years.

I always buy a map when I visit a new place. I look at the map and try to find the sights and the other places that I want to visit and then I plan how to visit them. I never walk around in a new place without a map because my sense of direction is horrible. When I use the map I still get lost sometimes, but at least is happens less often when I have a map When I was at school I wasn't especially good at geography, but as an adult I have developed an interest in other countries. I like to play geography games, because they help me memorize the location of the different countries and the capitals.
