Was it true that dreaming sometimes lets you see the future?

I had many dreams in the past that serves as hint in the coming days. Eventhough it wasn't cleared, it usually links on the situation that i experience. I have also dreamt of some places that i never been yet, then later on, when i actually get in to that place.. it suddenly familiarizes me that i already been there through my dreams. Its kinda scary sometimes of whats the meaning of my dream, but what i always do after it, I prayed that everything would be ok.

LOL. Your discussion reminded me of the biblical story entitled "Joseph the Dreamer". There are a lot of say that these dreams do predict the future but I do not think so. Dreams are created by the brain. The brain is still very active in our own sleep. Our brain does not have the capacity to know the future. Only God has the capacity to know the future. Those people who say that they can predict the future is just plain superstitious.

Yes i know that no one can predict the future.. i only share what i have experienced that in my dreams, i don't see exactly the thing would happen in my future life. But the message in my dreams almost describe of what i have today which actually happened.

My Mam used to have dreams like this often, each time one of my sisters fell pregnant my Mam would dream about it just the night before they would tell her, she used to dream of things happening and the next day surely enough they would happen.

i think some dreams are future , some are present for a choice you need to make, and some are of our past. when you get old as myself they are of past or present. but when i was young i dreamed of my son before he was born, then i dreamed of my youngest daughter as a 12 yrs old before she was ever born.

This is a controversial topic because it's about having psychic ability. In my personal opinion, there are some people who have a gift for seeing and knowing the future. Sometimes they know what will happen in the future because they dream about it. These people learn they have this gift through their own personal experiences. Some people are also gifted in a way that they know the future even if they are only daydreaming.
