how to stop eating junk food

Hi guys! I love eating junk food like ruffles and lays! They really taste soo good! But I know it is bad for the health and I also noticed that it made me look fat. HELP GUYS! Do you know what can help me stop eating junk foods? Thanks you in advance. Happy mylotting.

I have very good self control and discipline so for me I just put it down and stopped eating it. I did the same thing for soda. I will eat junk food or soda every once in a while but I go right back to not eating it afterwards. I can go months and months at a time without eating/drinking it. I would suggest that instead of grabbing junk food grab a healthy snack you like to replace the bad one. Or when you get the cravings go for a walk or occupy your time with something else to do.

Hi It's not like there is any special way using which you can stop your habit of eating junk food. The only solution is that you have to controle yourself and avoide them. Yes they are not good for health and tell this thing to your self and keep it in mind whenever you think about junk food. Whenever you feel like eating junk food go and full your stomach with some healthy things like fruit.. Or just drink two gass of water instantly.. I am saying this because with full stomach you will found easy to avoid such junk food... Even I like eating junk food , but as I know they are unhealthy I rarely go for them.

I am in the same situation , I cannot win myself from junk food . If I happen to not eat any for a day my Boyfriend will remind me and we both head out and get junk food like burgers , lays and even soda . Even though we know its bad we cant stop but the only good thing we dont put on weight . Whenever you watch TV, some food commercial is always on . I would suggest self discipline but I dont have any now lol I cant discipline myself :(

Keep a bowl of fruit nearby and stop buying junk then you cannot eat it.

For me, the best answer is you need to have a great discipline in avoiding such food. You cannot totally avoid these food at a glance. You need to slowly remove this ffrom your menu or food list. A couple of packs per week at first then lower your consumption as time goes. Furthermore, avoid going to the junkfood aisle in the groceries to avoid the temptation of buying. Better to have a list of things needed to buy in the grocery and remove from the list the junk foods. Instead, try to replae them with healthy options like fruits and bread. Hope this will help.

I'm afraid the only answer is will power Try making sure you have plenty of healthy stuff on hand to snack on like fruit or raw vegetables, but don't give them up altogether, allow yourself a little treat once in awhile! Everything in moderation is the key to healthy eating

With a lot of determination and discipline, we can somewhat make a stop eating some of that. Start minimizing your consumption. They say, "weaning" to something can be hard initially, but I beleive we can make it. Wean now, for you to win the junk food resistance. Thanks

I love eating junk foods too before but my husband help me to stop eating those unhealthy food and taught me to eat healthy food instead. The best way to stop or avoid eating junk food is not to buy any of it, instead buy more on fruits and wheat bread which high in fiber.

I also love eating junk food. If you want to stop eating them, then you have to have will power, but if you can't, you can just replace them. :) Before, when I go grocery shopping with my mom I always ask her to buy a lot of junk foods. Of course, because I'm spoiled, she always buys me. haha But, we all know that too much of that is not good for our health and my mom also wants me to stop eating too much. So, now, when we go grocery shopping, instead of buying a lot of junk foods, she buys me cereals (Froot Loops and Frosted Flakes are may favorites). So whenever I crave for junk foods, I just eat my cereals. Thanks to my mom, I lessened eating junk foods.^_^ I hope it can help with your cravings.
