Washing dishes.

my boyfriend, i guess, is always doing the household chores. he washes the dishes all the time. that's his assignment in their house. i actually find it cute hahaha. but yeah he is just a very hard working guy. and also because in the states, you don't have someone to ask to do that but yourself.

I think that it is just normal to see a guy washing dishes. There are so many guys out there who has living alone and cook for themselves. I am sure that they also do the washing after. I don't find it as turn off, instead I find the guy responsible. My husband usually wash the dishes because he stay at home longer than I am. He also does the cooking sometimes and I love him more for that.

My husband washes dishes a lot actually. Lol. When I cook he washes dishes, if he cooks then I do the dishes. It is a great way of us both pitching in together to get things done! =)

You have to be lucky :D. Mine doesn't like doing it, but would do it. He's really modern, and he doesn't even expect me to cook or do the household chores. I'm really glad he thinks this way, that he regards me as equal, and wouldn't be like, you should bear kids and stay at home cooking for your entire life :).

It appears that this is a stereotype. If nobody does that, I will do my share in washing dishes. In my country, washing dishes is a sign of respect, lean as you go. Thoough, I need to do that for the love of my wife. Simple thing but means a lot to her. For she is so busy of everything. I might as well do something to lessen her burden. Thanks

I never feel shame if wash the dish not only my but also other family member dishes. When servant is not came then I do all chores.

My husband washing the dishes almost everyday since I already do the cooking and prepare the table for our food so its his turn to do the cleaning and washing all the cook ware and dishes.

Well, most guys I know will wash the dishes if it's their turn to wash the dishes; or if it's their dirty dishes to begin with. There's nothing wrong seeing a guy doing the dishes, it's just a normal chore which anyone can and must do. Unless of course they've got a household helper or a maid.
