You earn (potentially) for everything that you do, others earn for what they do.
Provided that your participation in discussions is of sufficient quality and abides by the Guidelines, you will earn for all discussions, responses and comments that YOU make. The exception is when you respond to or comment on a discussion which gets deleted because it (not your response or comment) was a guideline violation. Earnings will be deducted (or not counted) if that happens. That is WHY it is absolutely essential for EVERYONE to understand and to follow the Guidelines.

sir nice suggestion for newbie. I agree with you our earning is depend upon us what I to do. Now I understand the rules and guidelines very well because day before yesterday once again I read all guidelines.

We earn for what we type. We do not earn for what we do not type and we earn if our referral is active. I think we need to be active in myLot to earn and also need to respond to various discussions. There are no hidden ways. Go type and enjoy responding to various discussions and you will earn better in myLot.

yes indeed! you will earn for the discussions you started and for the discussions you replied to. you also earn from the active referrals you make. like everybody says, you type, you earn. when you make long responses or open up with long discussions, you earn more rather than give short comments to various topics. for me, i choose topics that i like so that it flows naturally- i mean the thoughts that cross my mind and my fingers then begin to type until, whew! i'll just realize i already typed quite a lot about that certain topic. :-)

I guess you can earn big here if you keep on participating in discussions by starting new topics and comment to each of responses you got evnthough you dont like the answers. Just be open and see how people think differently from you.its not a bad thing to lisen or understand other peoples views isnt it? Well, commenting on and on and widening the conversations is a plus. Eventhough the topic is long time ago as long as theres something to say, let it be heard. Getting referrals who will really be active is really a great help on earnng here. Search box, you have to use it fro time to time to earn as well. I can earn 20 cents per day at times by usibg it...not bad isnt it? The tasks can be helpful specially if you can do those which has bigger earning points there...

everything that you do here on my-lot you earn,if you respond to a discussion you earn.If you start a discussion and they respond they earn,and when you reply you earn.
My-lot pays for activity,and quality comments and discussion.If you comment on someone else discussion you still get pay .read the faq and you will fine more details their.Good Luck

do you think if we were not paid for this then anyone would take part in other user discussion.
also you don't even earn a single penny for the responses you get in your topic unless you reply back and have a discussion (which mylot is all about)
You just need to understand one thing that mylot is a discussion site not a question answer site.
