I remember when I was younger...

I don't even remember how old I was, I want to say 7.. In any case I didn't want to eat the rest of an apple and I didn't want anyone else to know about it. I think this was before I was really able to either reach the switch to the disposal, or I was afraid they'd hear it running (which they would have)...
I flushed part of an apple down the toilet, or tried. I ended up getting into more trouble over that then if I had just done it down the disposal. Though I can't really say trouble, they were upset, but I remember them laughing because of my innovative idea of getting rid of the fruit!
Anyone else ever do this??
Or am I the lone nutcase on this one?

It wasn't like I was sitting on the toilet eating it! I went into the bathroom intentionally to dispose of it..

That's a sad thing to be forced to drink like that. I can understand though, There's foods I was forced to eat that I don't like so much anymore.

I was given whole apples to eat, I guess it was just a matter of getting me to eat healthy stuff....

No, I never did anything like that. My parents wouldn't have seen any humor in something like that. They weren't gifted with good senses of humor.
You have, however, given me another argument for having a composting toilet...

I don't recall doing anything like this myself, not saying I didn't just can't remember and haven't heard any stories of anything like that but my daughter has done things like this not in a long time which I hope because she has grown older and hopefully grown out of it but I remember a few times especially with meat she didn't much care for it and so on numerous occasions she would take a bite or two and the would chew it and chew it until it just turned to mush and then she didn't want to swallow it and a few times I would find it in the toilet or in the garbage can and even once I found her chewed up meat inside of her jewlery box. Oh it was so disgusting and smelled so horrible, she got in some big trouble for that one. I havent found anything like that since but I think now she is older and likes meat a bit more so she doesn't try any of that or atleast not that I have found

I rememeber when I did it I was old enough to know better but at the same time I thought "well I know it will flush."
Meat isn't as bad as long as it didn't have bones etc. I know when I have kids mine will be doing stuff like that lol. I was and am such a hard head.
Glad your daughter hasn't done that in a long time, and I bet that was disgusting to find and clean out of her jewelry box.

My son did something similar recently.
But not with an apple, or any food.
He was playing with paint in the bathroom and made a mess. So, he tried to clean it up with paper towels. Not wanting to get caught, he flushed a bunch of dirty paper towels down the toilet. It got clogged up!
I ended up fixing the toilet.
