Thanks to owlings and bluebell for making the idea clear. I was also wondering about the same but now have come to know about the real secret behind earnings in mylot.

Owlwings gave you the answer I think you were needing. Isn’t he great! If its ok I’ll make a more philosophical comment and say Mylot doesn’t pay. They reward members for participation. Can you see the difference in approach? The actual way they do reward is a secret and in the guidelines Mylot does ask that the algorithm not be discussed but your general question was fine. I think by general observation we do see that if we partipate well we are rewarded and if we don’t get much less.

Anyone who tells you that "MyLot pay 1 cent per post" or anything like that is lying and, besides, they are NOT making the most of the site if that is all that they think they are paid!
