Being has technology has become a part of our life, people are becoming more computer friendly.so if any one is sending a letter they just type it and print it are email it now a days.
Back in the days people use to write letters and mail it,now you can hardly fine people who will write a letter with a pen.
Do you still write a letter with pen and mail through the post office?

I must say i love getting hand written letter, when my ex moved 3000 miles away we send a few letters and after a while it just stopped. I remember as a kid in elementary school everyone always wrote "notes" as they called it. they were just letters we didn't want others to read.
i would still love to get a hand written letter, that why i love Christmas and birthdays i dont get a letter but, some people will write things in a card and it always makes it more special other then a text saying it.

Letter writing with pen and paper is becoming a lost art. I remember getting letters as a child. There was nothing more heartfelt. Distance made communication more challenging and letters gave me hope and a hug. I don't get letters as much now, but letters I have received are kept close. I would like to resume this art of letter writing with someone that enjoys it. When I want to remember someone or get to know them better sometimes what I do is pick up his or her letter.

I know that it has become a last art, hand written letter should be treasure.Technology has taken over the world now,so you will fine it hard for people to use pen and paper now when using a computer is more easier and faster.
But you will fine a few people still write letters the old fashion way, especial the elderly people.
When i use to have my pen pal friends before i have my computer,i write them once a week .And every letter that i receive i still have them today i treasure them, because they are special to me.

I do and I also send cards....handmade ones. I don't think that the email kind are really that special and I want the people I love to feel special. I write my grandson letters who is in the army....he enjoys mail call a bit more when there is something hand written from back home.

I still do, there are great people in this world that needs our help and I love people who help animals so they are forgotten but not by me, I write to them so know they are loved and remembered.
I used to write many letters in the past, not so much anymore but still like it.

It seems that nowadays the only letters one gets are SALES-letters ... but yeah, people should write more letters. In fact, that would be a good idea---if you have spare time, write a letter to your friends (with pencil/pen and paper, not a message on their text-device or Facebook newsfeed)---and not just a note to say hi, but a work worthy of framing (but don't feel bad if they don't frame it).
Because the handwritten letter is powerful ... maybe not as powerful as the human voice (which brings with it the power of 'being here right-now & not-here in an instant, gone if you missed it'), but--by the same token--longer-lasting and almost as personal.

Most letters that come in the mail, are mainly bills.your right people should do a little writing in their spare time to a friend are even family member.
Writing letters is special, because people take the time out to write it.Write a letter today the old fashion way, paper and pen is the special way.

I have a very illegible hand writing even though I did a lot of writing. Also my wrist hurts because of a previous injury. So do you expect someone to get a letter from me without her going to someone else or phoning me back and asking what I wrote?

No, I am with the rest of this generation and do everything electronically. I do most of my writing through email unless they don't have one and then I will send a text. I think the only things that i still send through the mail for communications is birthday or holiday cards.

Typically, I do all of my communications with other people through email and text messages as opposed to sending letters that I've handwritten to people. The reason that I choose to do this is because of the fact that it is a lot faster to use those means of communications.
However, there are still some times that you do have to mail a physical letter to someone. Even at that, though I do use an envelope and hand address the envelope, I will typically type the letter up, print it and then mail it.

A lot of people still haven't got computer around the world today.Using the computer makes it easy for one to communicate now a days.
Am talking about writing the letter with a pen,old fashion writing. Most people are typing an emailing an even printing letter because it is easy an reach faster, but about the people who don't have a computer today. They still write, and even some people who have computer at home write letter the old fashion way still.Computer makes it much easy today.

I am not doing that anymore compare before that I am even doing that to my cousins though not all of them are worth to send their letters. I believe there are still a lot of people who are sending letters especially for those people who doesn't have computers and internet. At the same time some of them are living in a community wherein you can't see any computer shop.

i was doing it twice when i made a request letter for my voluntary service schedule. It was a rush letter so i had no choice but to write my letter through pen and bondpaper--a handwritten letter! But usually if i make a formal letter , i use the computer to type the words and then print.

Millions of people do not use the old fashion way of writing letters any more, because of technology.hope that you will try to write something soon using a pen.
I still do a little writing now and then, when am going to the supermarket i make a list of the things i want so therefore i have to use pen and paper.
