i have seen a trailer of superman on youtube. i don't know why are so many super heroes lately on the movies. i hope that they can think of something else and not just about super heroes. i am so tired of super heroes. they need to be more creative of thinking more interesting stories and not just make the same movies and just changed something a bit on the stories.

You realize that the super hero movies are comic adaptations, correct? The stories are already written, they just need to be shortened and possibly changed and then they are made into movies. Comic fans are almost always excited to see their favorite heroes adapted to the big screen. There aren't that many super hero movies that have come out in the past few months that we can say, "Alright, no more." You make it sound like they're heavily outweighing normal movies.

what he meant was that so many "SUperman film..
not so long ago was just Brendan routh SUperman Return..and this new coming"Man of steel" is another reboot..means it star all over again..how many times do we need to see how superman get here from Kryton all over again..
anyway..theres too many superheroes movie in thsi 1-2 years..from comic books..unless u missed out on a lot of them..
AVENGERZ,CAPTAIN AMERICA ,THOR,WATCHMEN,GREENLANTERN,GHOST RIDER 2,THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN,DARK KNIGHT RISES,...that just less than 650days
i havent include the ones from 3 years back...
anyway..the point is ..probably he hates superman being remake..and its a reboot..while Superman Return" was actually a continuation of SUperman VI Quest for peace..not a reboot like this new coming one Man Of STeel"
cheers..

I get it with Superman but we can't have more than one super hero movie per year? I honestly don't mind it, it's not like it's pushing away other potentially good movies and taking up their space when they could be showing.

yeah..of course..the more the better for movie goers..
just that sometimes ..most comic superhero lovers..and all knows that SUperman is the most beloved character of them all..afraid that they might ruin an oscar winning superhero movie..SUPERMAN..classic.
who knows..this time it could be better..just like the old Tim Burton BATMAN..compared to the newer Nolan's masterpiece of Dark Knight..

i've also seen the trailer of this movie. although yes, there are a lot of superman movies already, i think having to watch a different person portray the character and another twist to the story could be exciting. there are other movies out there that are also interesting, not just superman.. so try to find other options and enjoy.

actually this is the first SUPERMAN..movie that starting from the very beginning again..probably ..or hopefully told in another perspective..just like the new Amazing SPiderman"
the previous superman films are connected to each other..from SUperman (christopher reeves)superman 2,superman 3, superman 4 quest for peace...then continued to Superman return with Brendan Routh acting in his place..since he is not around to act the same role anymore..

Funny I just mentioned something similar to my partner the other night. I think I said something like "Why are they remaking all these films?" I mean, just a few years back I saw the Spiderman movie with Tobey McGuire. And then there was another one that I didn't bother to watch. I saw the Superman movie with Brandon Routh. And now there's another one that I am not really interested in seeing. His answer to my question was this: He said a few years back the technology in movie-making, although very good, wasn't as good as now. There are new things, new effects, and a whole lot of other new things that we can appreciate. Certainly Superhero fans would still see these movies even of there's only a few years of gaps from the previous ones.

Comic books to movies have been really big over this past while, but one of the biggest ones, from long before any other superhero movie, was superman.
But there's been some big tragedies to it through hollywood. It seems like, so many people love superman, that everybody has a different idea of how the whole thing should go. The "Man of Steel" direction was extremely popular in the comics, and works far better in today's world then the old, sent by aliens to earth direction, and they've been trying to make a movie out of it... for about 10 years.
But, for some reason, that script did not work out, but the more generic one, with Lex Luthor and a super-man, that made it to the screen, even though it's not the best story. The thing is, the story is generic, so it doesn't get as much dispute between producers.
But now, it seems like they're finally going for the real Man of Steel direction. Super-Human vs Super-Villian, maybe even the direction of Superman finally being beaten. I have high hopes for it... I think it'll will be the best one in a while.
Besides, with comic book movies being the highest sellers (like Avengers having the highest opening weekend of all time...) I'm not surprised they're coming out with another one.

Yes, I do agree with you. There just seems to be a ton of superhero movies out now. Sure I will watch a couple of them. But I don't feel the need to watch all of them. Maybe because they are just a adaptation of the comic books that the superheros come from. If I read the comic book then I would know all the story and back story for the character. There is a ton of CGI in the movies too. I think its because its a way to make a movie without making a nice story of your own.

i guess it's about the likes of the people for the super heroes, fictions like superman and batman. but think about it, it's not the same story that we will see in each sequel but the characters.

i know what u mean..
they should make new movies not based on comic superheroes..or AT least...make a film aboutthose superheroes that never been turned to film before...like
recently u have Green lantern..Ghost Rider..which previously was never madde to film nor tv series..
some can be very successful like Iron Man..whose character was rather difficult to create for film in early 70s 80s..
let see...mmm who else havent got a chance to be into film..??? Plastic Man,,?
She HUlk? Master of Kung fu?
a better remake of WOnder Woman,Aquaman ..or Flash..would be interesting.

Yes i can agree with you. I like the old spideman movies better because they were acta;ly about the story not about their lifes out of it. I mean there ewas sereval movies about superheros these days jsut to get populaterity.I am not really fond of the superhero movies in gerneral but i enjoyed watfching the spideman cartoons as a child .

I haven't seen the trailer but I'm not interested in seeing it anyway. Never was a fan of Superman.
Reason for all these superhero movies is becaues they rake in lots of money for these people that's all. People love superheroes so they will go and watch their faves. It will die down eventually, ther eare only so many they can make surely.

I am in agreement because I am sick of all of the super hero movies also.
Although I can see why it is happening. Go with what is popular for one thing. I mean if you're doing it, might as well get it all out now while people are craving and wanting it. That way they'll make a lot of money in a short period of time.
I do not agree that it should be just for the sole purpose of money but that is the way it is.
The reason the movies are so similar though is because they follow the comic books.

I don't like super heroes of the movies because stories from our daily life is more interesting. And now adaptation should be more creative.Super heroes usually are perfect guy, however in real life that won't happen.I'm tired of the type of these movies.Hope one day we can watch more excellent movies.
