If I would compare my life to my rich cousins, I will really feel bad. I know that no matter how hard I work, I can never taste the life they have. But, I do believe that God has a good purpose for me and for that I trust in Him.
My life can be stressful but I guess I can enjoy my life though writing. And if that becomes stressful too. I go out somewhere for an ice cream lol
But you know, I enjoy ice cream more with my husband or children.

Hello Ice cream, yes my cousins are rich too, they are so rich, they dont know me at all, but it has nothing to do with our lives, i dont regret things at all, i like the way it is, we enjoyed life and working through life. Yes, i need to buy an ice cream, on Sunday i will buy the tastiest ice cream, i just know where it can be bought. Thanks for the thought.

Have ice cream with your wife. It's a great stress reliever. It's like tasting the fruits of our labor. I also have ice cream when I'm tired but not nowadays because the weather is too cold. Take care my friend.

Is all work and no play such a good thing?
How will your children remember you?
"I really didn't know him, he was at work
most of my life." Is the reply you get most often.
I know we all need and want more money but our
children need their parents more than going to
private schools. Both my parents worked when I
was young but I would have been happier to have
spent more time with them and done without some
of the unnecessary things they gave us. Time is
more precious than having designer clothes or shoes.
The more you make seems to never be enough because
we put material things first and our children are
the ones who get left behind. Ask your children what
they want...time spent together as a family or a
new item they don't really need.
I am home bound due to crippling arthritis but
I love to read, knit, play games and just talk to
people. I don't get out very often but love watching
others have fun especially when it's with their family.
It makes me happy to just sit in the park and watch the
children play and laugh.

I was a single mom raising two girls and working fulltime. I had my struggles and setbacks in my life like most do. However, after raising them and selling my home in NY my life has taken on a much better one. You have to learn to find time for yourselves at least once a week to keep the marriage going. Remember one day your kids will be on their own and it will be just the two of you. You need to keep the spark going. After selling my home I was able to retire at the age of 52 and I now live in Puerto Rico enjoying my life and doing what I want to do each and everyday. My kids live in New Mexico and I have been able to visit them twice in one year and now they will come to visit in November. Remember too that todays problems will be gone one day and another problem will arise so you need to just take it day by day. I enjoy each day doing what I want to do by gardening, yardwork, crosswords, movies, shopping and eating out. Enjoy the little moments in your life and remember to laugh a few times a day. That will keep you younger and happier. God Bless and Good Luck!

I should congratulate you, that is a job well done, i mean raising your kids and retiring in a good country. I know i'll be there soon, God is with me on this, I strive harder and harder to give my kids their dreams too, see you in Puerto Rico, in 30 years maybe.

This chapter of my life is all about joy. When I was younger I felt pressure and stress to succeed in school, work and taking care of home and family.
Now I live alone and I've customized a lifestyle where I do what I enjoy. I limit my commitments, I keep my life fairly simple and I do what I enjoy; which includes, spending time on my computer.
Someday, things will probably improve so be patient.

Wow at times I feel the exact same way but I've learned not to look a my problems but talk to them keep a positive outlook on life that there will be something greater in life we weren't put on this earth not to enjoy it so during my down time I speak of the future what it will be like. How great it will be because we are in controlled of our lives no matter how hard times my be. We can change It if were not satisfied with it. Also think of things thatmake you happythats how I get through this tough life.

I remember a friend's word telling me to think of the future not of the past nor the present. She said it we want our tomorrow to be something is has to be planned today, so she said, mistakes are committed due to lack of planning, anyway, just like you said, we have to be in CONTROL, a like those words, they make me stronger. and of course ..... Welcome to My Lot.....

there's no perfect life,we all encountered problems such as financially, physically ,emotionally ansd so on..if you do not have one,it means that you're abnormal because problems are part of our lives.for me,i enjoy life by spending time with my family, bond with them.if there's a problem,we're helping each other to solve it.we're not rich but we're happy cause we don't have debts to pay.my advice to you, make time for your family,it's not enough that you're giving them what they want or you're sending them to private schools..They need you.

We bond together but not that often, i just always say to them that i love thwm very very much and they need to study very hard so they wont experience what is happening to us, all the hardships and cost cutting, We dont want that to happen to them. With regards to families helping each other as in my brother and sister they lend a hand too, not financially but some other ways to help.
