I would NEVER!

Now fill in the blank! What would you NEVER do? I think it's funny when people talk about things they would never do - because how do you know how you'll feel in the future? Except for things that might be illegal and carry huge fines, probation, jail time or things that may be directly against your personal morality (not a religious based morality - there's a difference), I can't see why people don't open their minds a bit more. Think about it.

I would never cheat on someone that I loved!
And of course I'd never do any of those illegal things either I would hope but if we're not counting those then I'll stick with my first one. I just couldn't cheat on someone I think it's such a horrible thing to do

Well they may still have love for that person but they are no longer in love with that person. When you are in love all you want to do is make the other person happy so you would never think of cheating. The other person would have to be the same so it's give and take. When a person is unhappy in a relationship they should say something but instead will just go off and cheat. They're no longer in love with that person is what I think

Well, right now at this point in time I have to say that I will never eat meat again. I have no intention of ever consuming the stuff again and see no need in doing so, but in years to come that might change. And if I find myself starving in the desert with only a snake to kill and eat then I would have to do it and prove myself wrong. Anything can happen, but I have to say that I plan on never eating meat again. Never say never as they say!

I said "Eating a vegan or vegetarian diet" not "Eating a vegan or vegetarian" themselves as they would not taste all that good I reckon.

Eating a vegan or vegetarian diet is not restricting at all. I eat more of a varied diet now than I ever did as a meat eater. Variety is definitely the spice of life, so I must be living very spicy at the moment!

I would never go into a mine, even if there was gold or rubies to be had because I am very claustrophobic.
I would never go into a space capsule even if a large sum of money was offered for the same reason.
I would never wear diamonds from South Africa because they are blood diamonds and obtained on the backs of suffering human beings.
I would never take a ride in a rikshah anywhere in North America or Europe because I think one human being should not be a beast of burden for another human being if it can be avoided and other means of earning a living are available.

I'm not sure I'd go in a mine either, the idea of being trapped down one is sickening. As far as going in space, that seems kinda neat but something could happen there as well.
I'd rather either drive a car or get somewhere under my own power. having to count on or depend on someone else is not only a hassle, it's not really fair - unless you pay them for the service and they actually WANT to...

Oh..I never say never. The thing is that karma has a nasty little way of testing you on that sometimes. There are a few things that I could say that with but they are more along the lines of one of your last discussions where children were concerned. Of course the illegal stuff, but even then, it is hard to say depending on position at the time and the crime.

See, I even hesitate to say I'd never steal anything because of a situation where a man who lost his job and lost his house was caught stealing a loaf of bread to feed his starving homeless kids. Honestly, for shame. If someone is doing that because they have lost a job and been evicted, how can you fault them for trying to feed their kids? I realize that's a really extreme situation but there are people who are in that situation only a little less dire every day.

I will never.. no not that because I would..
Oh, no not that either..
Hmm..
I'm not sure what to tell you I'd never do. I can say there are a lot of things I thought I'd never do and I did..

I thought I'd never get divorced too, I've come to discover that a LOT of people think that. If you ever ask a young person... like high school age, 90% of them will say they will never get divorced. I think it's all about making sure you are with the right person before you commit to marrying them. Of course that doesn't really cover things like mental illness and abuse but those are two reasons why divorce is an acceptable choice if the alternative is trying to live in that, yuck!

A lot of things do change--sometimes in a very short time. I am one who has experienced a lot of change- some quite drastic- in a rather short time frame.
There are some things that I know that I likely will never do. Some are tied to my own personal morals, some are tied to my taste, others to my fears.
For instance, I will never get a tattoo. It isn't just that my religion doesn't approve of tattoos, though. It is that I: a) can't stand needles. and b) change too much too frequently to ever commit myself to something that permanent. and c) really don't want to be an 80-year old sporting ink.

That makes me chuckle too. I just got a tattoo - my first tattoo. I think it will be my only tattoo, not because it was painful, it wasn't. It was rather... annoying. Like an annoying stinging scraping sensation. I would have done it whether or not any religion or other person disapproved, I never exist or do anything to gain or keep anybody's approval, except my own .
Just recently I was thinking that if I got killed in some freak accident, everyone would know it was me because I'm the only one of my running group to actually get a tattoo lol.

I'm guilty of saying this and then ended up doing the very thing I said I never would. Now people cast their judgement and tell me the same words. I just give them a smirk because they truly know nothing at all.

This is one of my favorite discussion topics the thing about I beverage are that you say you'll never do it but you end up doing it lol I heard folks say they will never do something but in the long run they did this isn't going to happen with alot of people but for most it will I take I nevers as a ginx so I really don't say it at all Ior is it just me does anyone else think like that or is that just in my crazy brain lol sometimes I think way way to hard lol.

I remember telling my dad when I was little that I would NEVER wear bell bottoms because I thought they looked stupid. I love them... still wear them. I think I told him that boys were only my friends and I would never kiss one. I've been married now for a long time lol. I thought I would never run a mile - I run competitively now, 12 or so races last year and already at least 6 this year. I have learned from my own experience that saying 'we'll see' or 'maybe' is a much truer indication than saying 'never'.

Never is a long time!
there is nothing that I would say "I would NEVER do"
something you wouldnt normally do may come about under extreme conditions and you cant predict how you would react to extreme conditions

For me there are a number of things I would "NEVER" do. Such as eat an insect, chocolate covered or not, have a rodent as a pet, jump out of a plane, swim the English Channel. I would "NEVER" eat liver, milk a cow, dive into a pool, lake or ocean. I would "NEVER" if given the opportunity go flying into space, Mars, or Jupiter. I would "NEVER" hurt someone on purpose. I would "Never" speak to a group of people in a conference type setting. I believe I could go on but I can't think of anything else that I would "Never" do at this time.

That's funny I entertain the possibility of doing a number of those things because well.... I NEVER know. I agree that I would NEVER choose to eat liver again, I have unfortunately tasted it. GROSS. I've milked a cow, no big deal. Same with diving. I prefer pools to other bodies of water now though. I'm unsure whether I would be willing to go into space if I received an opportunity. After all, very very few ordinary people would get an opportunity like that. Public speaking isn't a big deal either, everyone else is more scared of it than you are.

I believe there are many things that I would never do. I would never cheat on my girlfriend. I believe that once we committed in an intimate relationship, we should be responsible and devote ourselves in it. I would never harm others for the sake of my own interest. I believe that we should be good with others. Treat others as good living beings. Respect and help them if they are in need of help.
